IF Lions happen to win the flag would it be considered a more impressive finals series than Dogs 2016?

Both would win it from outside the top 4, but although Dogs won it from 7th and Lions would be from 5th. Lions had a near record breaking comeback from behind win, winning at a ground they pretty much never win on whilst also beating the minor premiers in Sydney.

This is not a moz thread btw for all you Lions fans.

The Dogs and umpires travelling from Perth to Melbourne to Sydney back to Melbourne in consecutive weeks as underdogs in each game was something else.

Incredible finals campaign.
Lions have already played in 3 states in 3 weeks.

The GF will be the 3rd interstate final in 3 weeks.

Edit: based on home "state" advantage:

Dogs
2 away, 1 neutral, 1 home (GF)

Lions
2 away, 1 neutral (GF), 1 home

Crows won 4 finals in 1997. Although it was a different final 8 system

Dogs didn't play at Etihad once. We play at the G less than some interstate clubs
