I mean we have injuries and suspensions to 4 of our key players and then Harmes as well who has looked good in recent times.

This loss really isn’t as shocking as it seems to anyone following closely.

It was a shocking performance from us, but we’ve been inconsistent all year.

Injuries 😆😆😆

He's just an average alfl player and a bust for a no 1 pick.

Take out the pick it was a horrific draft someone had to go 1. I’d like him to really get fit and play a full year as a mid

Ben Brown kicked 3 against the Dogs and now Hipwood has kicked 6, goes to show their backline is absolute garbage.

Have you ever heard someone talk as fast as Cam Rayner? Was listening to the 3AW post match podcast and i honestly thought it went onto x2 speed. Sounds hyper.

When Dogs fans start going off at the umps after their decade-long pursuit of throwball it makes me feel all warm and snuggly inside.
Don’t bite the hand that feeds, lads
It's hilarious. They were handed a premiership and multiple finals on a silver platter by umpires and yet they still find ways to whine about getting hard done by them.

They should join umpire appreciation societies and be sending them fruit baskets every chance they get.

Most teams have injuries - Lions have Coleman Ashcroft Gardiner & McCarthy to name a few. Doedee as well.

Yes, but if he played for a Vic team he'd already have a statue outside the MCG with talk of a second one outside Marvel.

If he wouldn’t miss every second shot at goal yes. For a goalkicking mid boy he misses some

True. I think the real issue on that one is depth of the Dogs is in development mode. Some are in the side now like Freijah, Garcia and Gallagher that look like they can become best 22. I think Vandermeer and McNeil won’t make it. Forward talls are sorted but need Busslinger to stay and grab another defender.

Maybe.

I'm not sure.

Granted he's only 50 odd games in and is only 22 - so he certainly has time. But of those 50 games, he's been getting the 3rd best defender. Not many 22yo key forwards get that luxury.

I'm concerned that he's been very meh, whilst other key forwards at the same age that were getting the best or 2nd best defender were producing much more.

Not a great kick at goal either, which is obviously problematic for a forward.

He has time. But I'm a bit worried.
Most of the meh comes from the fact he has a tendency to go missing in games. Will dominate for a quarter and then do little to nothing for the rest of the game. Every 1 vs 1 contest he was in against Harris Andrews he didn't look like it. The bigger concern for me was how easily he was beaten in a lot of 1 vs 1 contests. That being said, he has plenty of upside and I suspect it will come, it might just take longer than most others.
