Occam's Razor where the simplest truth is most likely the correct truth. And I agree that there isn't a conspiracy against us, but stuff like the free against Baker which is never paid, can definitely make it appear like there is. Which is the thrust of what I was saying, poor decision's like that lend itself to drawing conclusions that aren't really supported by the facts

Was hilarious watching Bevo sit there looking perplexed at some of the efforts of JOD, Bruce and co. Your fault mate.

The same half a dozen performing well and keeping us in it.

First quarter was the killer. Gifted Port basically all there goals, meanwhile we missed a couple of sitters.

I think the move of the night was watching Keath get practically Ko-ed, it was clear he would need an assessment yet the coaches activate the sub and take JoD off. We had the chance to be 3 on the bench. After we'd already been 16 on the field with JoD and Bruce.

I still think we are going ok surprisingly given whatever it is that Bevo is playing at this time. We haven't been flogged, yet are dropping 4pts. Port are a hungry team, Geel own us anyway and we can argue the Darwin trip was tough.

We have a lot of guys out of form and injuries to key runners. We have to just get through the next few weeks and bank some wins

Like others, had no issue with the endeavour and effort last night. Far better performance than against Geelong.
Things that stood out. Libba, Treloar, Smith, Bont all were good in centre of ground.
Timmy was beaten but came good in second half.
JUH is our best forward by a mile.
Bruce plays forward or not at all.
Arthur, JOD need a run in 2s
Keath played very well.
VDM played okay but heart failures when he has pill in hand.

Yeah, I'm here for this as well. Something needs to change and if that means a 10th, 11th or whatever finish to hopefully wake the leadership up then so be it, because like all coaches that have been around a while, the list is being run into the ground. Unbalanced, uneven, inconsistent, too many games given to plodders and favourites (never thought I would say this) too tall and slow.

Port can do what they want in home and away season but come finals is where they will show what they are and they will be judged on that alone.

Problem is they need to decide on their coach prior to finals.

Is he talking about himself here? The missed opportunities to:

• Pick a more balanced team including not picking O'Donnell
• Not play Bruce on Dixon and not move him off Dixon after he kicked the first three
• To make some moves (any moves) when we were being carved up through the middle (how many coast to coasts)?

Look at the top 14-15 players on each list and compare them we would probably be the most talented or minimum top 4.

When you compare the next 10 players in list with other teams we would be bottom 6.

We have too many guys who are past it/not good enough/scope to be a role player at best. We have limited talent coming through that scream being in our best dozen players

This is what happened to me at the end of 2017.

2017 I was pretty forgiving since we had really bad luck with injuries to young players, as well as other players that never returned to their premiership form.

Now I’m just defeated.

There's no top 4, at best scrape into the 8 and then probably out straight away.

I've disconnected myself from caring after last night. It's not enjoyable anymore and until there's change from the top down including the coaching panel the club is just pissing away the list every year. Nothing changes until there is coaching changes. Beveridge is still trying to outsmart everyone. Won't ever forgive him for changing the game plan for fear of being worked out after 2016 only for Richmond to copy it and win 3 flags

See this is where I think we are being harsh. The last 3 weeks we could have won any of the 3 games we are just below standard by about 5%.We aren't getting flogged.
