He was fined $20,000 and suspended for 8 weeks, as well as a six-week suspended sentence.
In 2019, Jadyn Stephenson was suspended for the final 10 games of the home and away season, following revelations that he placed bets on Collingwood games. There was also a $20,000 fine imposed.
How can anyone think two weeks is fair?

even more - how an American who had no previous knowledge of the game could end up the match winner of a Prelim Final at the G is just extraordinary IMO. Just understanding the rules is an achievement in itself (as we all can testify ).

interesting to compare the most recent press conferences by bevo and our new coach..... our bloke is as insipid as a wet rag while bevo is looking for some fistycuffs and has got more mongrel than a dozen pitbulls....

Bevo having a tantrum because there's a leak in his club and that he has no control over it isn't something we should want in our coaching staff

Bevo should be suspended by the AFL for conduct unbecoming. Surely somewhere in their code of conduct there are rules about bullying behaviour.

It doesn’t matter who the target of your abuse is... journo, umpire or otherwise.... You get a 50 metre penalty for rolling your eyes these days!!!

Suspend him for a week or two. That’ll learn him
