Sidey's goal against Port or the one in the Prelim last year, which was better?
I like the one and tbh I forget the year and the team but I think it was Saints game. Where he gathered the ball and got between/past two opposition players and slotted the goal. Commentary was something like he parted the seas.

2019 vs. St Kilda (about 50 seconds in).

Since 1958, we have only won grand finals, both in October in 1990 and 2010.

Our last September flag was against Geelong in 1958 and the last GF we won on the last Saturday in September was 5 years earlier, also against Geelong.

Time for us to break the curse

Premiership window. Despite our loss, we've moved from 5th to 4th best offence, whilst maintaining our best defence status.

Melbourne and Brisbane remain the only others in the window. Carlton definitely challenging! 3rd best defence and 8th offence. Fortunately top 4 is most llikely out of reach to them with only 4 games to play. Their run home: St Kilda @ Marvel, Melbourne @ MCG, Gold Coast @ Heritage Bank, GWS @ Marvel.

The ladder since the start of the bye rounds - Pies have now lost top spot and have dropped to third on the back of last round's loss. Not surpringly, the two in-form teams are GWS and Carlton in this back half of the season.

It was Melbourne who we beat on that glorious day, ending their 4-peat hopes!

Yeah, the poor Prince was almost done by that fight but Barreras was a beautiful boxer to watch. Him and Morales nearly killed each other in the ring. If he fights Davis, it will be one the great fights, hope it happens but I think the power of the Japanese boy will be too much. Some good boxing going on atm
I’m a big Inoue fan, and it will be interesting how far he can go.
I really can’t see the Davis thing happening, just seems a step to far.
Seems strange to me people are even thinking it.

He's just won a 4th world title in a 4th weight division.

Inoue has already come quite a way, but only now is beginning to be recognised.

Next step for Monster is to unify at super bantam before moving up to featherweight. Tank Davis isn't on the horizon. The problem is that so many American fans have just 'discovered' Inoue and now they want to see him take on someone they recognise, even if they're two weight classes away.

Monday stuff....Starting to show our form drop now

Ladder since round 12 first and we're no longer top 4.

Premiership window we're now the 6th best offence. Weeks ago, we were 4th. Still hanging in there as the best defence, on the back of our start to the year.

Carlton are now the 2nd best defence and concerningly, also the 8th best offence overall, and this is largely on the back of their most recent several games.

Geelong are also annoyingly just hanging around.

I doubt that fighjt will happen either. Inoue is a delight to watch. I would hate to be on the end of one his punches. The sheer power he has in his punches is something to behold.

Spot on, and that’s kind of what I’m saying. Davis is 4 divisions above The Monster. And whilst Inoue has won 4 titles, he’s already actually gone up 5 divisions.
I definitely think he can go undisputed at Super Bantamweight, then have a look at Featherweight, but the talk of him fighting at Super Lightweight is crazy.

And I agree with your comment that maybe it’s because they hadn’t heard of The Monster, and are now just throwing up names, without knowing what the hell their talking about.

Even as a fan I was surprised how easily he massacred Fulton.
Credit to Fulton for even getting up after being hit with that big right, followed by that huge left as he staggered about. Once the Monster went in for the kill, it was well and truly all over.

The power in those punches reminds me of Prince Nazeem at his best

Same, I used to love The Prince, even with all his antics.
Inoue has similar speed as well. In the exchange that sent Fulton down, The Monster hit him with a left jab to the stomach, then the follow up right was instantaneous. Fulton wouldn’t have even seen it coming.
I remember Maloney saying a few years back that Inoue hit him a couple of times and he didn’t see it.
