Was hoping he'd lift as he was playing OK so far without being at his best. Structurally important, so I thought that might be what was keeping him in as there wasn't an obvious in form replacement.

Worked his tail off today to make everything a contest.

Keep that up and he really is a lock.

I have been a big critic..and been saying for a long time he's a list clogger.... but I got to admit that today he was fantastic for us... he really had an impact especially in the second and third quarters when the game was on the line... and again he hit the score board. One of the best games I've ever seen him play. Pllleasee keep it up Goldy!

His second quarter in particular was huge, my question has always been can we carry two "negative" forwards in Blair and Goldy, and the answer is still no.

Goldy stays though, we need at least one of his type up there.

When they were saying what the Anzac medal is awarded for I immediately thought of Goldsack (cant remember the exact wording) but it was along the lines of courageous, selfless and working to help out your teammates - Swan had the better game but Goldsack played to these characteristics, was great today.

Just to put it in perspective.. I would put Goldy in our top 5-6 best players today. I don't recall that ever happening before.

Extremely selfless player who has great on-field leadership and adds great value to our culture

Yeah its a tough one but those two had 17 tackles between them today and thats a huge number for forwards.

Id like Blairy to hit the scoreboard more though.

Disagree and I suspect Pendles, Beams, Swanny and Sidey would too. Matty I think you are underestimating what Goldys and Blairs defensive work does to open the game of our guns.

Seriously needs more praise does the Sack.

Most of what he does doesn't get put down on the stat sheet, but it's crucial none the less. All hail the SACK!

His 10 tackles did
