Personally if your going to put out a grand statement like that Caro, you better reveal them, because saying I’m not suggesting this…..is BS. You just did. You made the choice to give these opinions air time and highlighted these accusations at the club and Laura as newsworthy. If this is a catch all, Carlton and GC also got assistance in 2018 where they could pre-list 2 and 3 VFL players respectively. Carlton traded theirs - Kreuger to Geelong for pick 43 and McAdam to Adelaide as part of the deal for McGovern. Gold Coast took 3 players, which were Corbett, Burgess and Sam Collins.

Also, for the GC trade with Freo where Freo took Johnson, a Freo 2nd rounder also went back to GC and they ended up using that to trade for Ben Long.

The reason it was released when it was was because the Commission meets Monday of GF week and the assistance package had to be approved in that meeting.

It’s laughable to suggest that other Clubs “should have been consulted”, it simply is none of their business.

Questioning Laura Kane’s integrity 4 weeks into her job is a stunning attack on a good person who had more up against her than any others have had in that role. She should apologise for that, she’s made Kane a target for moronic commentators and supporters.
