In the latest TAC record is says of the 78 draft camp attendees, 42 are Victorian. Seems like an awful lot, especially given how good WA were during the Champs. It also said another 43 were attenting state screening too fwiw.

Does anyone know if there is a full list of the attendees online.

I don't think there'll be an official announcement for a few more weeks yet so apart from bits and pieces that get leaked through on forums you probably won't see anything official for a little while.

QLD have six invited to draft camp which include Sam Reid, Joey Daye, James Mulligan, Joel Smouha, David Hill And Brendan Whitecross they also have 12 players for state screening.

Not really that surprised, i dont really rate his TAC form and his APS form was good, with out being great. would be a rookie chance at best IMO

I would've thought being named in the best nearly every week and almost making the final 30 for VM would've at least got Totino a state screening. I know he's small and the game has moved away from his type of players but his form should at least be worth a look.

Maybe I'll have a friend in HBF on this one...

I'd agree with that.

Brad Jones is in the same boat. Consistantly one of Rangers best players. Made the metro squad but doesnt even get a state screening.
It is a bit of a worry that all the focus is on tallish midfielders at this stage of the process. If you havnt got some sort of x factor you dont get a look in which is too bad for the kids who are good in a lot of areas but not outstanding.

Jones is on ok height, perhaps on the shorter side at 180cm, has no trouble finding the ball as you say, but I would think his kicking and the fact that he isn't express pace for his height would be the biggest question marks over his head. Tends to bang it on the boot and kick a lot of mongrels.

I think Jones does what a loy of blokes do that are not long kicks and that is try and do more than they are capeable of. Jones would be a lot more effective if he concentrated on getting the shorter 20 to 30 meter kicks on target rather than trying to kick the cover off it.

Quite possible.

A Calder bloke told me polkinghorne, laidler, arrowsmith, armstrong, farmer, daniher & maric to dc and putt, cattapan, robertson and P smith to ss. Phil Smith will not be able to participate due to knee injury and Maric will be hampered due to shoulder reconstruction.
