He'll go, they'll still measure his height, weight, hand span, arm length, give him the medical check, and of course club interview sessions. Just might have to miss some of the physical testing.

It should also be remembered that the camp is not 100% entirely about the AFL clubs. The kids get addressed by the player's association get a session on racial villification, drugs policy, stresses of becoming an AFL player etc. There used to be media training as well, but I don't know if that is still there. So some of it is for the player's benefit too.

Last year Chris Dawes went and he had had a knee reco only a few months earlier. Much more to Draft Camp then just testing the players physical capabilities.
