Wow, that’s interesting indeed. With his athletic profile, his versatility, how young he is, how much his development has been delayed, how he might still be growing, and what a good mark he is, there’s no telling how high his ceiling is.

The fact he seems extremely self-assured and confident will also help him reach great heights, if things pan out well for him.

Not a bad draft for saints. Prob need that big bodied mid. The Pou maybe becomes that.

Obviously North wanted Tauru, and the rumour is we were trying to trade that F1 from around pick 8 last night. Who knows who we wanted.
I was hoping for Tauru and Trainor personally.
What we do with the F2’s tonight could make me happier.

Those F2s will probably get you back into the middle of the first round next year.

I'd view it as trading out your second and downgrading your first. It's how big the downgrade is that will decide how expensive the trade was.

And either way, it's a good deal if your boy becomes a quality CHB.

If what Pou was doing at the end of the year is anything to go by he definitely looks like the guy we’ll look to build our midfield around going forward.

Boxshall we also obviously rate pretty highly, as we gave up an F2 for him and an F4.

In North's defence, for all we know they could have had Whitlock as 12 on their board for example, so in their eyes they've probably considered it F1 for "12" (27) and F2.

The interesting thing in regards to the rating of talls is that no club apart from Richmond picked one from pick 14 all the way through to 27. Then there was a run on them.

Perhaps North got really lucky as other clubs prioritised smaller players and then got the first choice of the talls?

Think he would have been snapped up pretty quickly after that and wouldn’t have been surprised if Richmond did the next pick if he was there considering we picked a Fwd/Ruck in Sims there.

Hope he works out for North.
They clearly rated him high and they got their man. So from that perspective they achieved their objective.

I know for a fact from someone in Traralgon that Geelong have indeed asked him to come down for vfl-i would have still thought that's the path for him but maybe he will get on an afl list now as you say. Id be surprised if we took him straight from gippsland league. I know that Geelong are quite keen on henderson and obviously through the mannagh connection they would know what they are getting.
