I wonder if we could trade just Ellis for pick 1 and 3 and use the 'potential' line to describe Ellis to GWS and see if they lap it up like some on here?Trade Buddy, Ellis and pick 20 for GWS pick 1 and 3. Then we have the best in the land.
Get your hand off it.If we fail with Bellchambers I would go after Goldstein. Potential to be very good but it isn't clivking at the moment and seems out of favour at North

What?C'mon SG.....
What?
Well not so much in terms of selection but he has not come on in the way they had hope you can see the club and especially the supporters are getting frustrated with him. I believe that we, as a club should take a punt because the ceiling on his potential (which seems realistically attainable) is very highSurely you're yanking our chain........How did you come to the conclusion that he's out of favor at North?

Goldstein has had a bloody good year...he's probably 3rd in line for AA.....the problem of late hasn't been Goldstein, Its been the use of him by NM, he is being overworked with bugger all relief, by the last quarter he has nothing in the tank. The fact that they are thrashing him says to me he is very much in favor.
No idea about his contract situation but I think we could tempt North. I wouldn't want to pay overs for him but considering our ruck situation I think he could be a very handy additionGoldstein has had a bloody good year...he's probably 3rd in line for AA.....the problem of late hasn't been Goldstein, Its been the use of him by NM, he is being overworked with bugger all relief, by the last quarter he has nothing in the tank. North arent going to let him go for anything less than massive oversNo idea about his contract situation but I think we could tempt North. I wouldn't want to pay overs for him but considering our ruck situation I think he could be a very handy addition
Personally I think we should be into Bellchambers as our first priority. Less potential but more likely to achieve his potential imo. Not to mention he is a free agent. Wouldn't even have to deal with Essendon. Just need to convince him.North arent going to let him go for anything less than massive overs
Bellchambers is uncontracted, not a free agent. Big difference we would have to trade for him or lure him thru a draft which isn't plausible.Personally I think we should be into Bellchambers as our first priority. I'm loving the idea of drafting/trading for another ruckman. I mean we've already got 3 rucks and 2 fwd/rucks plus another on the rookie list, but hell lets get another one just because they're potentially available and neglect where we're really needing improvements in, speed amongst the midfield. I love this idea. Maybe we can organise it so that we rookie list Bellcho to replace Ceglar because we only keep rookie rucks for a year?
Lowden will hopefully be the future. No need for Bellchambers or the out of favour, but always playing and playing well Goldstein. Bellcho is no better than what we already if we have to trade to get him.We have multiple areas where we need improvements. Speed obviously and our First Ruckman. Our List issues include elite young midfield talent.
As for the Ruck, we don't have a competent all round 1st Ruck
Bailey at the tap outs very good, ability around the ground avg.
Hale at the tapouts avg around the ground reasonably good.
Lowden has all the tools, his testicles are somewhat missing, his will to compete atm is non existent.
Ceglar don't know enough about.
Grimely is more of a second ruck option.

Disagree on Hale though. Average ruckman and average around the grounds. When was the last time he took a one-grab mark with an opponent baring down on him?
Slow, huh? You were obviously watching the wrong ruckman.Having watched Lowden a couple of times on tv this year I would say he's a long long way off being anyone's future
Slow, easily pushed aside, no Agression at all and just so disappointing
