How close is Daniel Stewart to the best 22? He looks a pretty lively type up forward, although his radar has been a bit off. Will Tredders take his spot straight away, or is there room for both in the team?

Hi guys.
Bad luck on Friday night but your blokes played with a lot of heart and the game could have gone either way.
Anyway can someone please answer Hodges question above because I'm also interested in this guy. Tall athletic and can take a big grab. Terrific prospect but will he be considered early in the season?

Howdy ya'll.

How has Pearce been tracking this pre-season?

Has he finally learnt to deal with a tag?

Cheers.

"...Harding seems a goer, and i have him in my 22, his high tackle count will help his point system too. Not too sure what he's worth at the moment but if he's in the scully price range i reckon he might be better value than that early on...."

Nater glad to see that you have this guy in your 22 - currently he is valued at $240'900 in SC. Do you invisage him fighting for a spot in the 22 with Hitchcock or could both get a spot?

I am also sold on Gray, Banner, and D. Stewart - the later i have just in ahead of Hitch due to fiscal constraints!

Cheers

If Brogan's fit, don't pick Westhoff. If Brogan's injured, do pick Westhoff. All that needs to be said really.

Salter will probably in the Round 1 side, but seems to have been playing more of a lockdown role. I'd avoid, too much uncertainty.

See this is where I feel your wrong, Salter will collect kicks without getting out of bed if he is played down back, if he goes up forward, he is still going to be playing...

I think Harding will come into more serious contention with his spot when Hartlett and Rodan are available, i certainly wouldn't be pickin one or the other when it comes to Hitchcock. Im not sold on Hitchcock or Stewart playing rd1, probably more chance of Stewart if i were to tender a guess.

Pearce has had a great preseason imo, and has been handling the tag well, in the high 400's tho i think theres a little too much risk for him for my liking. Could end up super value tho, especially if Gray and Boak take some much needed pressure off him this year.

I think Nick Salter is in our best 22, will definately play rd1 with Chaplin out suspended, the million dollar question is what do we do when Chaplin comes back. Chaplin, Calile, Cornes and Salter is too tall down back, Tredrea and Schultz are just about locks up forward. Ill maintain i think he should be in our side every week, and especially if he's playing down back i can see him being a 70-80 point contributor in sc, he kicks a lot and has probably the best kick in the team. Just wish i could trust the selectors with him.

I made my thoughts on Westhoff in my last post and nothings changed since then.

Sorry if this has been discussed before, but im considering Andrew Moore for the pine... anyone know how he's progressing and what chance he is of playing rd 1?

Any info would be appreciated :thumbsu:
