Roo -> Goodes.

Was very tempted by Brennan and the coin i'd make if I did that trade, but he has too much of a question mark over him to justify a trade, plus you can't go wrong with Mr. Reliable in Goodesy. Would rather him average a consistent 95+ over the season, and play 22, than risking it all for a Brennan or Rioli.

Not sure I can really go wrong with this trade - while it violates my "no fossils" rule, I think they are both consistent enough to produce the goods (no pun intended) for the whole season consistently. Brennan/Rioli/Grundy are all tempting as hell but I think I'll go safe at this point.

I'm still considering Tippett -> Pav instead but I'm going to wait until the last possible minute to do either trade.

Does anyone have a Fantasy Freako issue from last year to let me know what Joel Selwood's TOG average was?
Still cant decide on him, Kornes or Anthony and he is averaging 79% TOG at the moment so I'm wondering if he will most likely increase that as the year goes on.

But what to do with my 2nd trade is the issue I am going to offload adcock but I am not sure whether to pick up silvagni or schmidt next week. My main criteria is security but the extra 50k makes schmidt more tempting. Any help?

Does anyone know how long shuey is out for???? I heard that it was bad but cant find anything to support it! Please help.. Lockout is soon and i have enough cash to upgrade him to Boyd but was gonna wait for one of the rookies to mature and maximise cash.. If he's out theres no need to wait....

Mate this is the burning question atm. No one knows. There isnt even anything about it on the WCE forum board.

On the SC board people are saying 3 to 6 weeks

Some people are saying season.

All i know is it was a knee injury last year that kept him out for the season!
Dunno if its the same knee but really want some insight because if he is out for a long period of time i wanna trade him to moles or bail. Only 60k profit but will at least start generating some more cash

If your already have Brown and O'keefe then this is a good trade imo.
I think the main worry people have with Pav is the DOckers are looking stronger this year and arnt relying on him playing in the mids as much.

They can now afford to drop him in the forward line every now and again and get less touches but kick 3 or 4 goals.

Just means you may get your games of 70-75 when he is up forward and your games of 110+ when he is in the mids. MOre of a role concern than anything else.

WIth the dockers getting stronger they no longer require him playing forward back and center all at once which may reduce his scoring a bit!!!
Thats why people have been leaning toward brown and okeefe because the seem to be a slightly more solid option.

WIth that being said i think pav is in for a big season and will probably look to briung him in further down the track

Pav always scored best in his preferred position at CHF- he has consistantly averaged around 100 DT points a season there. Last year he played more midfield and he didn't score as well as previous years. If he can spend more time at CHF he will finish in the top bracket of DT forwards this year, without a doubt.

He kicked 5 goals against Geelong last week, and should have kicked 2 more. 26 disposals means he is still getting stints on the ball too. Perfect trade for Roo if you don't already have him.

Don't expect too much against the Saints this week though.

That is the exact reason why you shoudlnt trade him. You have bastanic on your bench who is capable of scoring 70+.

As if your even considering trading out a guy that less than 10,000 people have in their team and averaging 115 points per game when there is little to no infor about his injury. DOnt make a decision until you know more about it and there is an estimated time frame for his return.

What happens if you trade him out this week not knowing the extent of the injury, he comes back next week and scores 120. If i were you id be waiting until more infor is released. If you dont have any info by lockout id just run bastanic this week and wait for further word next week.

All the other in form players are too expensive.

I will consider it an option if I don't hear more about this injury but I'm not likely to do it.
