Shuey has played 3 games and is averaging 65. His price will continue to rise every week, even if he doesn't play again.

Even if he is out for the year- hold on to him until he is fully priced then downgrade to someone like Cunnington who should be playing soon.
You do understand that a player cannot go up or down in price unless they play right? Troll or just ignorance?

Ahhh, no. His price won't change until after the next game he plays.

The only trade I can do this week is Stanton -> Mitchell

All the other in form players are too expensive.

I will consider it an option if I don't hear more about this injury but I'm not likely to do it.
He went on the flight to Perth if I recall correctly and he was named in Matthew Knights team on the Essendon website which was done at around lunchtime yesterday so the injury can't be that serious.

Sorry guys. Pure ignorance, not troll.

Well that really sucks doesn't it? Might have to trade the Shue if it really is a long term injury. Didn't make us much, did he?

Unless you are making the trade to cover a 0 it isn't worth trading on him missing one week. Still has a lot of value to add if he is playing and he is certainly in the Eagles best 22, I'd say that based on 3 rounds he has been closer to their best 5. So should be safe when healthy to come straight back in. If news comes of a long term you will have plenty of options next week.

I have both Jay Schulz and Tippett in my forward line, plus Warnock in my ruck.

Schulz definitely getting traded this week, but now considering whether to trade Tippett as well. $52,100 in the kitty and 1 trade done already this season.

I'm considering trading Schulz to Burton and then tippett to either Gwilt or Reimers.

Got rid of Voldt for Chappy. Took the risk, Chappy had the hightest scoring potential, and even if he does go down (touch wood) it won't hurt my team to badly. Oh and 'that dood', why would you have Jay Schulz in the first place. People talk about unique picks pre-season, but that's just blatant stupidity...

I loaded my midfield so I needed a cheap player and he was my last place to fill. He has averaged 70 which I was hoping his change of scenery would move him to a 75+ average player. Was hoping he would kick a few goals as well at FF...

But this isn't about why I picked him, more if anyone has some opinions of my potential trades I mentioned?

If you're going to burn another two trades, I'd probably be looking at Rioli and Rockliff with your limited (450k?) budget.

Could you give me the source, i might put him back into my team, especially if he traveled to Perth. Any chance he could possibly play.

I dont think its worth covering a zero by making the trade anyway. Im lucky that im not in this position but i personally wouldnt trade. Shuey had strapping on his knee last week all through the game, so its something the club knew about last week. Clearly must just be to sore and a rest seems warranted. Also not in the best of form, maybe a reason to not pick him by the club and coaching staff. Shuey went up 45k last week and if he can avg 65 which he is doing now without playing well, he will continue to rise plenty. I would rather cop a zero than use a trade.

Get on Tommy Rockliff, will average 80 and play the next 10 games, if not more. Take my word mate, i'm driving away in the car this year.

Im not saying hes a bad pick. BUT

Brisbane have plenty of best 22 players not in there side or are on the injury list.

Sheldon
Buchanon
Adcock
Ash Mcgrath
M.Clark

But i must admit i was considering taking Goodes over Brown because i would be able to trade Relton Roberts to Rockliffe and i wish i probably did that. But last year i learnt a lesson by bringing in Franklin instead of Riewoldt and it cost me big time. So i just went with the player who will score the most IMO.

I have decided to keep Voldt for the week. Whilst it is not ideal to have $445K on the bench, I am assuming that the targets all don't make their BE (SJ, Didak, Pav, Goodes) I could save $30K - $40K. Assuming I can then use the $30K well enough over 18 rounds at 7 points a round is 126 points which is on more than what I could trade for now, but I have cover which makes it more appealing.

So by waiting I make money, and over the season don't lose points.

Riewoldt to Chapman
Hall to Brennan

or

Just Riewoldt to Chapman?

I think Brennan will go higher up in price than the amount of money Hall will make. So it might be best to get him when there is only 90K difference?

I think you've set a record for the amount of times you've asked the same question.

Just make a decision.

Pavlich or Goodes? Leaning towards Pav.

Get Goodes :)

Pav is inconsistant.

I traded this week after thinking I would be keeping 20.

I traded sideways Stanton -> Mitchell. I couldn't just sit him on the bench. I need the points :(
