I didnt think he would.

Not for any other reason than we have a lot of great players to get under the cap and I would think we would lose someone this trade period.

Lots of talk Shiel was going to make sure the club got a better trade deal this year rather than next if he left as FA.

Things can change though.

Shiel wouldn't ask for a trade now unless he had a well sorted rock solid contract offer. Reckon his manager is still sorting through proposals AND the ability of a destination club getting the trade done which is important. St.Kilda can with pick 4, not sure about the other suitors.
