Respectable losses to APW (10 points) and west coburg(26 points) both of whom will play finals

Didn't see this weeks game. But the boys were very good against AW. We did beat PV before that. And the drop in ladder position reflects an even comp. Vital game against Tulla this week obviously.

East Keilor Keep B-Grade Leadership (with pics)

AIRPORT West paid dearly for its wastefulness in front of goal as East Keilor claimed a three-point win to remain outright top of Essendon District Football League B grade at the weekend.

Jacana Breaks Through

http://ow.ly/5AJ5l

FEW footy scenarios involve both elation and despair quite like the battlers, and Jacana’s three-point win against Roxburgh Park at the weekend was no exception.
The Jaguars won their first EDFL B grade game for the season and their first since playing Roxburgh Park last year, holding on 17.12 (114) to 17.9 (111).

what's with the league sending young umpires to good games?
the two fields at East Keilor on Saturday wouldn't have been older than 18!

Why should the age of the umpire be any issue. If they are good enough to be there they should be there. Both of the umpires are capable of doing that Grade of Footy

was at sewell reserve on saturday for the glenroy vs hadfield game glenroy proved far to strong for hadfield around the stoppages with hadfield having a very yound side on the park with some good signs going forward i think as a club . glenroy may have left there run for the finals a little to late but there still a big threat if can get over the line this week against KP .

physical game???

i played for haddy in my younger days always tough games in the local derby

Northern saints have had some great youth coming through the last two years and the next couple also

Sayid Abdulrahim, Elliot Kako both under 18 B&F winners. Kako is tough as nails love the way he attacks the ball never a backwards step

Matthew O`donnell - absolute jet can run like the wind...still young and finding his feet in senior footy but will be a fine player

Bilal Allouche - played his first senior game against west coburg absolute gun at under 18 level just needs to put on a bit of size which will come in time. This is one kid to watch out for in the future and one of the nicest most polite kids you will find

Jordan Baullo - another guy still in under 18`s was a Greenvale junior but came to the club this year. Absolute excitement machine can take a hanger, defend, play ruck

Matthew Gray - little bloke still first under 16`s was playing 18`s earlier in the year fearless for his size. could be anything

Very disappointing news over the weekend as insurance brokers stepped in to put a stop to Trent Croad being able to play for KP. Part of Croads exit deal at the end of his career was linked to a lifetime insurance coverage, playing competitive footy isn't covered. Disappointing news but the boys will be focused on the task at hand, which is knocking over Glenroy on Saturday!!

Took them a while. He's been playing football in Malaysia most of the year hasn't he?

Big out for northern saints against tulla.... Bassman Abdul-wahed four weeks suspension....

4 weeks? Must have been pretty serious.
can anyone confirm the rumour, as i understand it, the ump reported the wrong guy for abuse, there was a witness ready to give evidance to that at the tribunal but the ump said if the witness is called then i will quit as an umpire, the decision was made that it was more important to keep an ump in the game that let the tribunal follow its due course, so 4 weeks for the wrong guy.
if that is true then the comp is in trouble, if its not true then good result.
