I got word today from a strong source that the season is over for Murray Silver at keilor park. if true would be a big blow for kp who are in red hot form leading into the business end of the season. Has been hampered by a knee in the last few weeks and was carried off the ground against hadfield and did not complete the match. The big fear is that the knee will rule him out of next year aswell. Looks like he will be stranded on 93 goals for the year. Massive blow for kp. Been 1 of the recruits of the year for the edfl.

Two big games next saturday with West Coburg taking on Tullamarine , will this be at shore reserve or coburg city oval ? East Keilor at home to Pascoe Vale , with all of them on 48 pts, both games are worthy of match of the round status on 98.9 nwfm Who do you think will win and why ?
West Coburg just, coming good at the right end of the season (and home ground advantage).
Pascoe Vale over East Keilor, East Keilor's form has dropped off a bit over the last month.

Biggest game of the round by far is West Coburg vs Tulla. Tulla were run over by Pacco in the last quarter last week and beaten comfortably, whilst West Coburg survived an East Keilor comeback.
Can't decide this one, last time they played, Tulla won by a kick, may see another similar result this time.

Interesting round next week. It looks like Northern will need Pacco to beat Airport West and then they have to beat Glenroy to make the finals.

I think if Westmeadows beat Tulla the Saints are in too but that is less likely.

So if Tulla win this week and Pacco beat APW (should), then Tulla go in with the double chance?
If West Coburg beat KP then they will finish 1st and a qualifying final with Pacco looks likely. A loss to Westy would be disastrous for Tullamarine

I think PascoeVale are the biggest threat to West Coburg,they seem to be coming good at the right time, and I think Vinnie Randello must be a B&F chance.
Interesting to see Glenroy would have been in C grade had the split occurred this season ,hard to believe they were in A grade only 2 seasons ago.

As much as i despise pacco in some way i hope they win it this year after how many times they've been runners up. I Get sick of teams that win the B grade flag only lasting one year In The top flight pacco and west coburg are in the best position to make a go of it in A grade... If pacco don't win it this year then they will end up like marby... B grade clubs will be happy to see them go up

I still think Pacco will win the flag this year. West Coburg and Tulla are dead even and will trouble Pacco come finals, but I think that Pacco are going to be too good. If Airport West make finals, expect them to do damage, but the main 3 are Pacco, WC and Tulla
