Bit sad really. Bloke makes a legitimate comment about what was apparently extremely vile crowd behaviour. Then rather than support him, some others proceed to abuse the tripe out of him, and try and shoot him down in flames.

You’re being disingenuous when you said you offered a solution. Your very first response was to accuse the poster of being “gutless” for not confronting 12-15 tanked up, foul mouthed yobbos. Great solution that. NOT.

Some interesting pictures on APW Facebook page in regards to the dust up against Roxy. Anyone elaborate on it? What started it and it seemed to go for a while and looked pretty ugly going by the pictures.

Just before 3/4 Time, there was a trip, a free was paid and a report was made against AW - then no 8 of Roxy was being a hero!! started an all in which then got the crowd involved as 3Q time started. took a few mins to break up.
Whats going on at Roxy ?? Roxy have had a king hit, umps escort rubbed out for 12 months and now started an all in, in just the last 2 weeks, that good rep they had got in the last few years is disappearing fast - good old roxy!

Simple answer NO. What I notice is when they are losing there behavoir changes. It’s sad as you should lose with dignity.

Having said that you did say there was a reportable incident for a trip. This type of incident can spark trouble so was he remonstrating with the offending player??

I can't find anything that didn't look good on the Facebook page. Not sure where you're looking but I can't find a thing.

The hot behind play has been dealt with and the player and another are but at the club anymore. Why don't you heroes ask the people at Oak Park about the gesture by the Roxy captain on Thursday night to go and talk to them and confirm its not what the club stands for.

A melee can occur any week. Is it unfortunate that it happened this week after last week? Absolutely! However it's not a systemic issue as some of you are making out. Some of you on here put 2 and 2 together and come up with 84...

Turbo has been nice for a few months now but the first chance he gets he has a crack. Typical behaviour. I can't even tell who he supports these days. I thought he was Hillside but he's been nice and quiet about them recently.

Gee whiz horrible pictures when spectators get close to the action. Usually happens in front of there crowd. FFS why does it keep happening especially after the incident in the 3rds that was on radio where a 33 yr old assaulted a 16 yr old kid.
Why does the EDFL put up with this? No more warnings or bonds etc. People are sick of these incidents..

Sorry APW Facebook page the Melee doesnt ook good for both sides and especially being so close to coaching staff.. I couldnt care less I was just seeing if anyone could shed light on the reasoning. And getting all defensive I dont care about Oak Park I wascommenting on what I saw on APW Facebook page. But as an outsider reading past posts it seems Farrelly and the group have done a great job but 3 weeks in a row something has taken place isnt what your club needs, and tomention the ' gesture by the captain ' is getting onthe front foot in my eyes.

Aww did someone bad mouth your club and you got upset? You also spoke sh*t when I brought up the way Sunbury were acting with a harden up attitude lol. Yet your club is starting all in brawls and king hitting people. Awesome stuff

Runner shouldn’t be in there for starters . He will probably be reported as no official is to be involved in melee . And I didn’t say run away from photos .. I’m just saying they shouldn’t have been on the ground while it was taking place . So off your high horse and stop getting defensive I’ll say it again I’m only going by what’s been said and what I’ve seen . You getting all defensive for no reason in my eyes .

Oh poor Bash....hasn't been getting any attention. All I said was not to tar everyone in the photo with the same brush! Can you be sure EVERYONE in that photo was involved? that was my point. Some of those people might not have been involved. Just get out the paper bags mate. Had a very interesting chat to one of your junior committee members a few weeks ago. They are VERY concerned with what happens at Overland when Pat eventually walks and the money goes with him

Do you know who started the brawl do you? Maybe our guys were just defending themselves. the king hit has been dealt with and the player told not to return along with another....not sure what else a club can do. Worry about your own back yard champ, can't wait to see you in Div 2 in years to come when the money dries up.....but you'll have probably have moved on to supporting your old WRFL club again

If you watch the match vision, you will see the end of the 3rd Q then the 1st couple of minutes of 3Qtr time when the all in started, not a good sight - and it continued after this for a while, even the umps left the ground and went and hid in the sheds, not a safe environment to be in

Not condoning what has happened at Roxy in the past week but maybe if these critics dug a little deeper they would find some good things that the club are doing, mainly in relation to the incident in the thirds. Unfortunately Roxy can't be angels like all the other clubs in this division.

With what has happened in the last week, and if you watch the vision Roxy started the melee so really yes it is there fault the ump had it covered with a free and report, but your boys had to start up

I wouldn’t be taking any advise on the moral front from some of these puppet mouth pieces. Roxy can only address and action on incidents as they happen. No club is 100 percent perfect 100% of the time mate. All you can do is keep educating the next generation coming through.
