Hey boys, I'm not actually saying anything untoward as its great his son will probably get picked up, as per the newspaper article, but my mail is Wallis will step down as coach and Barnard will be announced senior coach. I was just hoping it might have came from someone following EDS, to break the news.

Also where have I criticised Syhlo. I think his a gun of the competition and was good in premier when at Marby. Plays the game hard but fair, and I like him as a player.

I can't recall ever saying anything untoward against EDS. If so, find it and show the BF readers..
They are all a bit touchy Turbo!! haha

Yeah Aussie, they jumped over me pretty quick yeah! Now they think I follow Craigieburn. They don't know me well. I have no friends at Craigieburn going by previous posts. Lol
Anyway just something I heard and passing on. Does make sense though..

pre season training started by now, how many numbers at training for everyone?

Northern have been doing a 3 day in a row training stint. This is their 3rd week now, but it has taken it's toll on players, between 25-35 players on any given night. It looks like they have a changing of the guard with only a few of the senior players remaining for 2016, others leaving because of money and others asked to leave. I think it is a positive move for the club moving forward, but they will have a difficult year unless they can replace all those guys which I hear they are trying.

Making friends again I see Turbs!! Any news on the old mate Justin Sherman and where he is heading after being sacked by Kyabram?

Doona is right mate, assistant coach at Whittlesea who are stepping up to NFL div1. He does live over that way so probably his best option I guess.

Thats good news mate as Assistant Coach sounds about where he is at right now. Apparently his final speech to the Kyabram players was quite powerful and ignited great admiration from those who were present.

Teams with 4 yes 4 byes in Div 1 for 2016. TL and HS have 6 byes due to the Good Friday game scheduled for 2 weeks before round 1 meaning they play, week off then round 1. TL draw looks terrible they dont play more than 2 consecutive games until round 12 Haddy have their bye the week after QB weekend CB look to have the most fluent draw
Might be time to even this div up lads thoughts? This has not put the EDFL in a very good light clubs will be fuming

Can't believe they can't get this division right. It will probably be the best footy wise, but still somehow manage to stuff it up. Would hate to see the 18s draw.

The stupid decision the league made was having a competition bye (Queens birthday) like 2 weeks after the interleague bye. Surely clubs would be able to play queens birthday weekend. Anyone wanting to go away can do it 21-22 May instead

Will see if i can paste it in lads not very tech savvy!
Hope this worked lads. Surely will create some good conversation! Agree with Mel and Knowitall what on earth is going on at EDFL HQ. EVEN Div 1 up like Premier and give Div 2 the byes. No disrespect to Div 2 teams.

Is it true the league has spoken to Craigieburn regarding a concern with points & upcoming salary cap. Believe Craigieburn is paying high $$. Is Craigieburn planning for the future or just next season. Believe they have offered new recruits 2 year contracts but are some recruits capable of playing premier?

Turbo u must barrack for Essendon because it seems u r on the gear as well craigieburn were at 41 points last year and were the second highest paying club in division 1 they have lost 6 and will be around 47 points and pay about the same amount this year with the five soft blokes going to wallan that has free up some money also I am pretty sure craigieburn play more kids than any other team last year so we r looking towards the future may be u should get of the couch and computer and watch a few games muppet

Out of curiosity, who are the blokes heading to Wallan?

That's my point if you read my post properly. If a div1 club is already on 47 points you will encounter big issues if you were to win it and go up. It's not smart by the league to give all divisions the same points.
I didn't say you are paying more than last season, but my source tells me your paying more than the salary cap will be for div1 when it comes in 2017.

Where did I say you don't play home grown juniors.. "Once again you don't read things properly" I actually agree that Craigieburn and Hillside are 2 clubs who play a lot of home juniors but both clubs do have an abundance of kids coming through.

Last but not least, you then go and pot players for leaving with Nolan to go to Wallan. Hope you are not involved with the club as its best to keep on good terms with players who are leaving for good reasons in hope they might return some day. I'm sure the club expected a few to leave as Nolan has been at Craigieburn for many years, except a couple of years he came to play premier.
Calling me names over a computer doesn't bother me, as its water off a ducks back. Copped it plenty of times over the fence from supporters, but not to many times by opposition players. Over & out..

I wouldn't have thought u played the game before and potting blokes that r leaving the club it's not potting it's telling the truth wouldn't have got a game this year and if the club is going to play premier that wouldn't get a game then and u said r we looking at the future or just next year and as I said we will keeping playing our kids and keep on recruiting what we need so I am sure the club is looking at the future and blokes like u will always be jealous
