So let me ask glenroy win flag club goes to premier div do the 19 go up to premier as well and if so easy way to get rewarded to premier please suspend whole team what that says tome is that there must have been some other issues and club made decision
Possibly....that incident may have been the last straw. Not an easy decision though. Like I said better to go up to A grade without 19s than to have a team which tarnishes the clubs image. I've played against Glenroy in the late 90s when you'd make sure your life insurance policy was upto date before leaving home. The club has come such a long way. Credit to all those involved.

The club have worked hard to improve over the past 15 years and your compliment will be greatly appreciated by their volunteers.
They will work harder to make sure that they have a quality U19 side and prove that the club will always be stronger than any individuals senseless behaviour

I'm happy to answer your question but just English please.and throw in a full stop every now and then.
Even though the English may not have been up to your high standards, I am sure you were able to get the gist of what he was trying to ask. Get off your high horse.

To answer your question, yes the club reserves and U19's go up to Premier Division as well. You will see two clubs in Premier Division were unable to field an U19 side this year.

No high horse New. Just wanting to make sure that what is written on here is correct and relevant to the question. Unlike others that confuse and avoid the truth , I would rather try to keep it real.

Well done to Glenroy today on making the GF. But I noticed they played with the max 48 points. If they due win and get promoted this maybe their downfall.

Roys awesome today men v boys all over the ground. My biggest concern is that the gap between prem and div 1. HS miles off Premier i hope when the Roys go up they can hold their spot. Certainly agree with EDFL points could be an issue but players come and go. Glenroy have to be $1.02 favs now. HS $1.05 out in straight sets. Thoughts people?

OUtback, I expected a closer game on a neutral ground in good conditions but Glenroy to strong and polished. Moved the ball better and linked up to provide the overlap. Hillside had the ball in their forward 50 early and should have scored early, but didn't and it was all downhill from there. It was over at 1/4 time.

Hopefully the next few weeks (now premier league is finished) sees an improvement in the umpiring. Had no bearing on the result or margin but they weren't good especially early when the heat was on. They seemed to lose control causing small spotfires caused by umpires not paying frees for holding off the ball.

On Glenroy and player points they will struggle if they go up. There list is inferior to Craigieburn of 2016 and Craigieburn played with less points.

Let me ask you how many of the players that played today would be able to compete and say break even with a player in premier league. Winter & Walker were dominant and kicked 8 between them, but neither are going to be premier league standard in 2018 IMO. Having said that Walker was easily BOG and played well and Winter has played premier and was a bloody good forward in his day but won't be at Glenroy if they went to premier.
Maybe No 3 Del Busso
Maybe No 9 Ferraro * but it's a big step up from Haddy to Glenroy to Premier footy. But he can play.

That's the main concern they will face in that they lack players in their current side who are premier league class. Do they have much in their 19s coming up?? If not they will last only 1 year in premier.

On HIllside, they lack a big strong backman and a polished experienced classy mid. They have the inside grunt but lack outside polish through the middle and someone hitting up through CHF. All their decent forwards were well held, but Coletta will be better for the run having missed a bit of footy and I think Patane needs to play deep. He got a bit of the ball but it was outside 50.

The Nilsson brothers, Trembearth, Del Busso and Brewster are all young blokes who would fit nicely in Premier, but as I saw yesterday, you need so much more because the game is so much quicker with a fair bit more polish, so they'd need a pretty decent top up too.

You don't think Dulic is up to Premier Turbo

You don't think Dulic is up to Premier Turbo

Dulic is an interesting one Tragic. I do think he could play premier and is a great leader just not sure what position. Maybe fullback on the tall forward. Dulic didn't do much yesterday but was somehow named in the best 6. His main asset is his long kick and strength but he won't be able to bust through tackles in premier and intimidate opponents with his size. The other concern I have is he hasn't been over keen to play premier level in previous seasons. But to answer your question yes he could as a fullback or 2nd ruck type but must stay as captain.

Hey Mel, agree you must persevere with the young talent like the Nilsson boys. Brewster looks like a good talent along with Del Busso. Trembearth will struggle in premier mate.. It will be interesting to see what the ex Roxy boys do next season if Glenroy go up.
They would also need to find a premier ruckman preferably an ex AFL/VFL which will carry 5-6 points.

What does everyone think of Windy Hill these days.
-Away rooms poor.
-Grandstand seats poor
-Toilets poor
-Food van overpriced. $2 potatoe cake / $3:50 soft drinks. Cmon that's a joke!
-Either needs to be no alcohol at all including in the Hird stand, or put a beer van around the ground. If both sides supporters drink in the Hird stand the league will get trouble especially in div1 and div2.

Why doesn't the EDFL or AFL fix it up a bit. The ground surface is good and it has atmosphere, but it's only half a ground for all supporters and a ticking time bomb.

HS are gone. Beaten by APW and humiliated yesterday.
Tulla will win today and beat HS by 40+ next week.
Glenroy to win the flag.

Glenroy have obviously been the best preforming team all year and deserve to be the clear favourite especially after yesterday, however the GF is a different day and anything can happen. The Roys have spent some coin I just hope it's on players willing to stick around and have a go at premier level if they win it. I do think Hillside will bounce back but whoever wins the prelim will need a good game plan to beat Glenroy.
