Good luck to eds next year I am sure if they all leave the will go buy some more players as u have to going up shylo is a good player but I don't think he will win I really think page was the best player in the comp but has to many teammates taking votes off him but good luck to both

yeah your probably right about Shylo. What about Kite and company? will they all stay and play Premier League?

Talk at The Linc last night is that EDS aim to be very competitive next year. The coaching groups network reaches far and wide (eg. Lil this year) and player meetings have taken place. Players have retired as expected - they were recruited to the club for one goal and it was achieved last Sunday. Shortfalls have been identified and that's where the recruiting is targeted.
Expect some signings in the coming weeks was the talk last night.

Ho hum. So boring. Can't wait to see which other clubs players get to run around in EDS colours next year
Fact. 6 good senior premiership players already talking to 4 clubs
Great culture.

I've heard Kite staying, also heard he played the GF with a broken wrist. Great Effort following a rigorous fitness test on the Tuesday before the game.

100% correct
He broke it when he was pushed into the fence at Greenvale. Dean got him into some specialist. And he had plaster on it first thing Monday morning and had it off late Thursday night before the game.

Anyone from East Keilor on this forum fill us in on whether they have been informed on which division they will play in next year? Surely the league would be keeping them in the know about this? Im hearing its undecided but the hope is to keep them in div 1, and with hadfield coming up make it the 10 team/ 18 round division that it should be

A reliable source has informed me that Blair knuckles Cronin is very close to committing to the oak park football club for 2016 . Will sciberras follow him back to his home club ? Both had big games in the grandfinal would be handy additions

Interesting as hearing maybe Kite as well. Hope they were all upfront with EDS when they signed out of respect. All will be high points after leaving after 1 season.
It's an interesting one if we agree with players only wanting to play b grade instead of staying on and having a crack at a grade.

Not a hope in hell will Sciberras go back to Oak Park. Dont think he would be to welcome back there.

Weak as piss if there is a walkout at EDS. by the sounds of it a group of players there want to stay the big fish in a little pond and not stick by the club and challenge themselves in premier division

Surely they knew the club has aspirations of winning the flag and going back up. Seems a bit strange unless EDS knew they were only staying for 1 year. If they don't hold on to them they will struggle to remain competitive in premier under the points system. I'm sure there juniors coming up are showing talent but will surely need time to compete in premier. Interesting times!!

you never know, they all might head back to the Roys!! hahaha

Wallis and Barnard the too biggest flogs around the EDFL? On the basis of what?

What coaches are liked by everyone? It's been like this for years. Bit like your boss I suppose. They have there favourites. This will never change and be the same at the majority of clubs around the state.
I think Barnard doesn't have big wraps when it comes to actual coaching, but is good with other roles outside coaching.
Players these days need to harden up a bit and take some criticism which you would hope they take on board. Players will always think they are better than so & so..

Coaching is not easy and becoming more difficult each year.

Interesting last point Turbs. As you already know your Ex-Pacco man Justin Sherman is not exactly dominating up at Kyabram in his 1st year. All reports suggest the club is looking to replace him. And they are currently still alive in finals. Ken Sheldon doing most of the coaching.

Sorry if not totally relevant to this list but interesting given his history in leaving Pacco under controversial circumstances at the start of the year.

Cheers Silver. Yeah a big investment if he only stays one year, as the plan (and $$) was based on him staying at least 2 years. It's a shame people are like this as they were warned, and both clubs had an excellent relationship until this thing happened.
