Coach announced just now as Aidan Stott. Ex St.Albans Div. 1 Ressies coach who won a flag in 2014. Word has it that the club has been building a nest egg and he will start recruiting in the second half of the season with eyes firmly on 2017. Smart move to put someone in now who can assess list and recruit. Apparently he has already met with several players from other WRFL, RDFL and EDFL clubs and some clubs should be nervous. Interesting times ahead.

Pretty sure they play today and looks to be a ripper game. Surely a chance of finals footy is gone for the loser of this one

East Sunbury won pretty comfortably
They looked ok when the game was played on their terms(outside run)
Big improvers but will probably still miss finals....
Which is probably a good thing because their skinny 18 year old will probably be bullied in finals footy

Can East Sunbury continue to surprise a few and make the 4?
They have been in a lot of games this year, and although reliant on a few to do a lot, I think they could sneak into the 4.

It's good to get in early to see what's about, but without knowing what division your playing will have an affect. OR have they concluded they will be in div2 again in 2017 judging by the advertisement.
I do however think it's a great idea for a div1 club to appoint someone with a plan to take over..

maybe a bit each way without being specific.........ad states "...currently affiliated within EDFL Division 2......."
But do agree interested applicants will be swayed by what division they will be in
All Clubs should be thinking or have in place a succession plan

Wel 1 for 1 did here kp loose 4-5 of there better players for a few weeks for a wedding overseas so think there season is done
