Heard that burnside got beaten by 15 goals against Sanctuary Lakes today. Seems like another long season for the Bears.
Lot of players out for the Bears, only 2 on the bench compared to the 7 that Sanctuary Lakes had. Practically no forward line in the second half due to injuries and down to 1 on the bench aswell.
First half was good
who are the new players for bunside ?
who played good ?
could you see them winning more games then last few years ?
There are quite a few new guys. Give me a little bit and I'll write up the complete list of Transfers for them, maybe in my lunch break.
I think they did look better than what they have previously, maybe win a few more games, should be a lot more competitive though with a few bigger bodies and a lot more experience.
As to who played well, it's hard to say without knowing names. Going on numbers I would say 1,27,29,7 and a couple others

G'day there, how did there 2s go? Interesting to see if East have depth.Any other reports on practice matches this weekend?
Heard that Jacana comfortably beat Braybrook. Anyone there?
I went to watch East Sunbury vs. Lancefield yesterday. ES lost by 9 points in a closely fought battle. Quite high tempo footy. However, it looked like both teams were missing a few. ES look to continue with youth with a young ruckman (heard it was his first game) going up against Cam White (ex afl). Also, Dylan Tarczon was runner which was annoying. Was keen to see how he would go. ES U/18's won against Romsey by 100 points which is promising for the future.

So East 2s won by 8 goals, looks like they have some depth.Twos was a pretty scrappy affair but I think they got up by around 8 goals.

Also, KP getting done by 10-12 goals against a Div 3 SFL team?

I don't know if their team was at full strength or not but they were beaten comfortably in all facets of the game...as you said they were playing a much better opponent so they were thoroughly outclassed...they were always second to the ball and just lacked a bit of polish...but it's only a praccy match after all. Thanks for this.
I don't think I would look too far into this considering Nth Heidelberg were Div 1 NFL last season and look to have recruited for a tilt at it in Div 2 this year.
Anything to add about how MV played? Seems to be their second practice match loss.

Practice Matches against superior opposition is better than playing games against teams below your level where you get a false indication of your playing groupI don't know if their team was at full strength or not but they were beaten comfortably in all facets of the game...as you said they were playing a much better opponent so they were thoroughly outclassed...they were always second to the ball and just lacked a bit of polish...but it's only a praccy match after all.
