Apparently issues with the website. Draft fixture is done and should have been up this morning.
Also interesting article about junior football that AFL Vic want to implement changes, but with the season starting this week what stand will the EDFL take?

Really disappointed with the EDFL, they keep telling everyone what a great league we have. The league is great because the clubs are brilliantly run and organised. Round 1 this week, still no junior fixtures up on the website, still no reports or results from the weekend praccy games, no articles discussing recruits and loses for all the clubs. Surely it is not that hard, the league is miles behind other leagues when it comes to the website and giving information to the supporters/players etc. Come on EDFL lift your game

Now come on you're expecting a bit too much from a league only ranked 5 or 6 in Melbourne Metro after the loss on the weekend (they would have been quick to claim 1 - 2 after a win) ............. Surely all player contracts will now have to be reduced by 20% to reflect the lower standard of competition we have ....... Surely

I'm a big fan of the EDFL, am involved at grass roots and enjoy the banter on this forum as well as the knowledgeable and humorous posts of BlueJet snax AuckMel mickdundee puffpuffgivemo shagshouli etc, however as a 12-year veteran of this site and ex-BF Mod, I do take exception to this sort of spamming as well as the 1 or 2 other posters (hello Sports_Support) that simply advertise. If the forum is good enough for you to come on here and promote your wares, then hang around and contribute. So Official EDFL - are you happy to take questions from the floor?

I certainly don't disagree with four of your five however Pacco will seriously struggle for mine!
Everyone rating Doutta's highly this year. I don't see the top 4 changing besides the order the finish in.
Also wouldn't be surprised if Norther Saints stayed up in Premier Division. If there is some here from Northern Saints can they confirm where they are playing this year?
The junior fixtures took longer to get up as juniors were going to be graded this season to avoid blow outs in the games.

Tipping the 'Rillas & Jets to play off again at the end of the season. The round 1 clash between the two should be an absolute cracker.
Does anyone know if Matt Little will be playing for Strathmore this year? Rumour doing the rounds in our league that he might pull on the boots for his junior club out Sunbury way. Has work commitments of some type was what I was told.

Well the wait is over and can't wait to go down to section rd and watch the unveiling of the flag which yes I predicted this time last year but who was I to know, just a 2 time A grade premiership player, anyway I think it will be a close game with the jets winning by 60 points. Jets 14

You could be right, Abers never beaten the Jets on their home turf. Not sure about the 60 point margin though.
