Great to see Matty King get a spot on the Calder Cannons list for this season. Well done to Pascoe Vale for promoting him last season and putting his name forward mid season, after playing some good games at premier level.
Some great young talent running around in the EDFL and if you can do well at senior premier level, you should be able to compete well at TAC cup level.

David is his uncle.

The role of the club is very important with these kids and it's great to see Pacco support him. Was talking to Kane Murfett the other day and wrapt to hear how much more positive he is about the season ahead.

Cheers AM.
It certainly does, I know that there's been a bit of discussion regarding the movement of young blokes to Abers, EDS, Keilor etc but it's the professional platform that these clubs offer that help bring out the best in these kids.

I got to the Noble Park v Pacco practice match just prior to 3/4 and the end result was Noble Park by 10goals. Only 5 goals in it at 3/4 time but Noble Park kicked some easy goals in the last due to Pacco being left with limited rotations due to a couple of injuries.
Pacco had about 7-8 of there best missing, but not sure about Noble Park but they were a good well balanced side and very fit.
Great surface and one of the best facilities I've seen in metro footy, much better than any club in the EDFL/WRFL. However they did run out of food early. Good turn up from both sides.

Was your car on blocks upon departure Turbo?

Hey outback, no it was OK as I parked in the car park. I left my Pacco hoodie & baseball bat in the back seat to scare them, just in case. Lol

I been to worse locations in the EDFL and WRFL. Hey if you ever go to St Albans in the WRFL make sure you remove your car badges as they are known to go going missing. Lol

Noble park have an amazing set up at the bullring..

Hey mate I haven't seen a better set up and it all looks pretty modern and new. How are those coaching boxes!! It's like the AFL but not as high up. Then all the viewing areas. Who paid for all that??

St Albans in the WRFL are pretty good, but the social rooms are in the pocket. But it's nothing like Noble Park.
Queens cliff & Port Arlington I believe are also good, but still way behind Noble Park.

Probably the only social benefit of pokie machines but yes it is a very good facility

Keilor had a good tussle with Kyabram till half time then went on to win comfortably by 40 -50 points. Both sides had a number of regulars out. Ky 9 and Keilor about the same.

Eds defeated Werribee districts by 37 points. Don't know about Werribee but eds had 9 out b

Who were the 9 players out of interest? I can name 5 off the top of my head.

From what I saw of the game, Werribee Districts are a very good running side. Moved the ball very well when they had the pill. Douttas stopped the run in the last and ran over the top of them. Douttas looked pretty refined with the new/ old recruits.

I didnt actually see the game this is just what I was told from the game.

Pete is playing. And a number of u18s are training with the main group. BL wI'll play vfl somewhere and eds will be his local club

Watched the game. WD took the game up to DS and used their skill and run effectively. Forays into the forward line were far more productive early on. WD did pressure the ball getter very well, but after half EDS started gaining ascendancy in the middle which evened the game up. ESD mids started taking control and number 117? had a field day in the last qtr and half with a number of goals. The bloke can take a good grab and a good kick for goal too!

A good game to watch.

I'd be interested to know who 117 was as well. Took about 3 pack marks in 5 minutes in the last quarter! Not the tallest bloke going around but can definitely take a mark

That's really good to hear about eds' midfield. Multiple midfielders/ruckman didn't play. So it shows there is depth through the midfield stocks.

They will know a bit more when they play deer park this Saturday
