Any of those picked at our second would be an absolute bargain.
Is McLuggage the kid that's being touted as the no.1 pick?

Very classy, clean overhead and ground level and gets involved all around the ground despite his skinny frame, would unleash him on a wing and let him just own it. Wouldn't say his kicking is elite but his footy IQ and ability to win the footy around the ground is top notch.Thoughts mate?
Not sure I would pick him that high but there is a long way to go to figure out who goes at 1, I would take Bowes and Petrevski-Seton ahead of him at the moment it's a pity that Bowes is tied to the Gold Coast. Is McLuggage the kid that's being touted as the no.1 pick?

As much as I'd like Simpkin at our second would you go Simpkin if someone like Battle was also available? There will be a lot of good players available at our second pick I reckon so should we go needs based or best available?Simpkin with our second.
Imagine McCluggage along with Will Brodie is right in the mix for the top pick.
Scharenberg Jnr sounds likely to drop in between our first and second.

would be good to trade for a pick in the 10-15 range and pick up someone like Rotham or another KPP who looks set to go at that stage aswell. Could really set up our future with this years draft after whats looking like a good draft last year also.Tough question.
The next two drafts are set to be laden with key position players so perhaps we can get a bargain KPF later (pencilling in Karl Brown's name into our third pick) and load up on talent early.
Imagine a draft like this;
1. McCluggage/Brodie/SPS
19. Scharenberg/Simpkin/Poholke
38. Karl Brown/KPF
Wouldn't mind any of those selections could even add Zac Sproule(would have to hope a bid isn't matched for him)later in the draft as a tall forward to work with or maybe even Strnadica.Tough question.

would love to bag Strnadica with one of our 2nd-3rd rounders. Kid will be a gunWouldn't mind any of those selections could even add Zac Sproule(would have to hope a bid isn't matched for him)later in the draft as a tall forward to work with or maybe even Strnadica.

There is a bit of Rory Lobb about him if he has a good championships will most likely go in the first 25 picks.would love to bag Strnadica with one of our 2nd-3rd rounders. Kid will be a gun
He still played fantastic in the game I watched he just didn't look as good as others, plays very similar to Bowes and will be interesting to see how both go in the champs.Hugh McCluggage missed a chunk of pre season with a back injury and the Werribee game was just his 2nd game back, 5 days after his 1st game, was not match conditioned. not an excuse for him but just expect better showings now he is at full fitness.
The club has never been bold enough to even go after draft picks. If we can manage to get another top 20 pick from some where that will be good.
Brett Anderson has him rated at 14 on his big board for 2016.Does anyone know anything about Tim English. On the afl site he was mentioned alongside Jeremy Goddard for WA ruck/tall prospects. English is listed at 204cm.
Brett Anderson has him rated at 14 on his big board for 2016.
"A long-term ruck prospect who’s form in the WAFL Colts has been strong having come in as a 19-year-old. He is averaging 26 hit-outs (24 per cent to advantage). He shows good touch at the stoppages with his hits where he can go forward, back, 9 o’clock and 3 o’clock, and he can get involved around the ground, displaying good kicking skills for a player of his size, and is a capable tackler." - what Brett wrote about him
There'll be one on the Phantom Draft sub board on the D&T boardThanks,
Do you have a link to Anderson's big board

SPS all the way, he looked like he could have been drafted last year in the top 10, his WA performances were insane.
We can cover needs with trading, take the best available. I think he or McLuggage will be the best kids in the draft at this point.
Probably just straight up tanking as they think he's worth it.Reckon Freo will nab SPS if they end up with pick 1.
