With all the compensation picks norfs first rounder may be closer to pick 20. We got 25 for Crameri - Carlisle is far more talented and valuable than Crameri as the reported $700k suggests. Atley and a pick close to 20 is closer to the mark.

Who, of the remaining FA's, could garner a band 1 compensation? Dangerfield, maybe Stanton and that's it. If they lose, North will have pick 11.

e.g. Carlisle and our second rounder for Pick 5 and their third rounder

I like the way its being approached though. Atleast he didnt sell himself to the media and say the club drugged him and how he has concerns for his kids ect.

Port "reluctantly" offered pick 18 and we were apparently lucky to be offered that.

There was nothing more coming then hello, we got their second rounder too.

It's standard negotiation, back and forth.

No way, that's realistic...on it's own I feel, no extra player...Straight swap for 5 would get it done...after 2 months of haggling.......gonna be a long off season...again...

Carlisle isnt even worth pick 5.

Ill happily admit i got it wrong and had no idea if the saints swap pick 5 for him. I cant see him being worth any more than pick 8-10 really. Maybe if the saints get their pick pushed down the order to 8 but even that might be a stretch IMO.
