The only change not dependent on fitness;

IN: Wood
OUT: Bryan
Bloody Oath.

If that is not Done we could lose Clearances again and That is not good news for our chances of Winning

I am going

Out Bryan Cook

In Wood Thomas

On the assumption Burn's won't be fit. Depending on how Reid pulled up and went on the weekend I'd be tempted to add In Reid out Dawes. Allow Trav to play deep and let Ried to the lead up work and try and clear some space etc.

OUT: Dawes Rhyce Stanley McCarthy
IN: Wakelin (Brown forward) Thomas Macaffer (Medhurst to midfield) Barham

I think that Sandilands/Bradly just happens to be the worst ruck combo for Fraser/Bryan, Fraser needs to ruck against Sandilands because you cant 'crash' into a 7 foot whatever 130 odd kilo lump like that, so Bryan is pretty useless there, and Fraser has to try and compete with Bradly around the ground because Bryan is slower over the deck than Bradly, its a lose lose. Wood might have been a better show against Sandilands, but I don't think he would have been any better against Bradlys mobility, come next week when we need someone to crach into the young Tippet and Maric combo to soften em up a bit, Bryan may still be the best choice.

Stanley is the real dissapointment to me on the weekend, no clearances, no first possesions and only one hard ball get, only 2 of his 6 attempted tackles where effective :( I like the kid and would keep him on the list next year, but he is not a fill in for Burns at all at the moment, Cook got more clearances, more contested footy, laid more effective tackles too.

Just love the idea of debuting a couple of kids in the finals, show em what they are playing for, and one of them is a Barham!

OK... that answers one of my questions. I was unable to watch the game properly on Friday night - I'm thinking that may have been a good thing.

Was wondering how Stanley and Presti went - sounds like Stanley was average. How was Presti?

Don't think we will risk two debutants in the first week of finals.

I doubt Burns will be available

In Wakelin Thomas Wood
Out Brown Stanley/R Shaw Bryan

Consider McCAffer in and we can drop both Stanley and Shaw. Bit tough on Stanley but I'd drop him solely for the appalling set shot at half time.

I'd like both Presti and Wakes in the team - experience required at the business end of the season - and we can choose to be flexible with Maxwell who is in excellent form and could be swung forward.

You have to consider his nerves mate, everyones eyes would've been on him. But yeah, should've done better.

Techinally Speaking, what did Eddie say about Didak and Shaw...

Was it at the end of the season round or year....

Either way, get these two players back into the team and I hope like hell that you defeat those prentenders....please.........

If I was Eddie, I would cop it on the chin, build a thick skin and bring these two players back in. They would be itching to get a game, and if they were offered a second chance, they will be the game breakers.

Go the Pie's........ and fcuk the Clowns<<<<fruit tingles:D

Eddie was on SEN last night - he told a caller to treat Shaw and Didak as though they had hamstring injuries - they will not be back this year.

Looking ahead we're a real chance to make a prelim if we have good "efforts", and that would be a really good way to finish the year.

But we seriously need to put a H&A season of 15+ wins together in the next 1 or 2 years. This year's H&A performance with so many poor teams in the comp. has been disgraceful. We're better than that.

Thomas in will make a massive difference if only as a small forward. Just please don't ever let Danny Stanley play again.

OUTS - Stanley, Cook, Bryan, Prestigiacomo, Dawes
INS - Burns, Thomas, Wood, Wellingham, Wakelin

Maxwell - Wakelin - Goldsack
R.Shaw - O'Brien - Lockyer
Pendlebury - Swan - Clarke
Thomas - Cloke - McCarthy
Medhurst - Brown - Anthony
Fraser - Davis - Burns
Wood - Cox - O'Bree - Wellingham

Can't agree with dropping Dawes and sending Brown forward. Dawes might not have had a great one last week but he at least knows the forward structure. We have had problems with JA not running to the right places as he is not a natural forward.

Finals is not the place to throw 2 defenders forward to see what happens. It may have worked for Sheedy in the last quarter of the 84 grand final but it won't here.

If Dawes is to go out, it will be for Macaffer or we are rushing Reid back. Neither is a significant improvement on Dawes in my belief.

Maybe the better option would be to bring in an extra mid and send Medhurst back to the square. It would at least drag Rutten away from full back.

Fortunately the collingwood football club has a lot more balls than the power maggots they stand by there word & the crows would do the same.

bring back some big game players, jimmy clement would be nice and nathan buckley did always love the finals, i'm sure eddie could weave some magic to get them to cover for a few games......................

Out - Bryan, Prestigiacomo, Cook
In - Wood, Wakelin, Thomas

I'd love to have Didak and Shaw back in the side. We all would, though!
They are very good players and really need to play in the finals for us to be a threat.

More balls than brains unfortunately, becuase if they were carefull before shooting their mouth off they would be in a better posistion in the finals.

As for you Crow36, the Pies defeated you at the MCG by 32 points, who got a wake up call coming of a loss at a difficult ground, I would say that you need to come in as under dogs to have a chance.

Remember that this is a side who defeated Geelong by 70pts plus.....they have the goods up forward to kick goals. When it come finals time I am sure that Mick will have his men up and ready for a do or die match.

I think it is you that lack the brains. Are you suggesting internet posters have an affect on the performance of their side?
