Nah, he's more of a stoic, solid accumulator. Too grumpy as well.

Luke Delaney can go, no real loss, makes so many mistakes.

Thats 500k a year, theres only two blokes on our list that are even close to that. Swallow and Boomer. Imagine the stink it would cause if a bloke just walks in and gets ALOT more money then what some of our better players are getting.

Hes worth around 300-350k if he would take that like i said i would be stoked to have him.

That is the glass half empty way of looking at it. Club can sell it as, push yourselves to be better players and you will go from 250kish player to be a 500k player. Make the AA team, become a top 100 player then a top 50 player, you are getting paid what you are getting paid because you haven't achieved anything yet.

Ended last year. We stopped paying Hale and didn't have to pay Monster's back ended contract which should have seen a significant sum of money free of the cap. However, we re-signed a lot of players who were being chased by GC and GWS in recent years, there would be a fair amount of bloating there.

Given our lack of senior players, I am not sure how we are even paying 75% let alone 95% which is the mandatory minimum now. I would hope we have been paying future years in advance bringing them into this year which means we have a much larger theoretical cap over the next couple of years.

We didn't need to, we just got Benny Jacobs instead. A BJ without all the finger-pointing and crocodile tears is far more enjoyable.

Agree. Many of us also said at the time that Bombers staff must have been on something when they signed that completely absurd deal.
