They lost 4-1 and deservedly so after playing a suicidal high line with 9 men.

Let me educate you. High lines are great and can work really well, but the key to a high line is pressure on the ball and pressing from your midfield and forwards so that midfielders and defenders dont have time to pick out passes to expose your high line.

Passes are often rushed and missed and its easy for defenders to clean up and your GK to sweep. But if your mids and forward dont press and dont close down, which is impossible when you have 2 less players on the field then the opposition mids and defenders have all the time in the world to pick passes and set players away.

It was just really dumb from Ange.

Pack the box and force a dour Chelsea with no real goalscorers to break you down and find a goal. Then try to hit on the counter with Son's pace. It's not rocket science.

With 9 men spurs could easily have lost 4-1 with 0 chances and let Chelsea have 90% possession all half. They didn't.

Don’t have an issue with how Spurs went about it personally, down to 9-men, they pushed for 2-2 and came very close, then got opened up twice and lost 4-1, it almost paid off. They could’ve parked the bus and still lost.
