Reports are Man Utd won't, or can't spend like they have under ETH in Jan.
By and large, this is the dross Amorim is stuck with for a while unless they can fleece a huge fee out of one of their spuds.

I think he'll be keen to bring Gyokeres back over to England.
United have strikers - they don't have anyone capable of feeding them the ball though.

If ETH gets a new job maybe he buys them all again?

Just saw the 3 Liverpool goals. Just relegate Southampton now. All 3 goals gifted through mistakes
I have played football for a long time in many different levels and I have never seen such a bad goal from that first set up. Why the keeper is throwing it to someone IMMEDIATELY under that much pressure that the player is forced into such a shit backpass that leads to the turnover and goal.

Absolutely insane.

Delap has looked quality from the little I've seen of him.

Good to see.

I liked (well, not really lol) the look of O’Shea.

What a lovely goal from Omari.

Shaping up that we've made some excellent investments in the summer (add Jacob Greaves to this as well). Not sure about our new keeper yet - but it's not as though he had much to do today.

They are better than people give them credit for. Honestly worried our game against them will be like Luton last year.
Lot's of comments that we're this year's Luton. I get it that we've been out of the Prem for a while - but what most don't realise is that our newish owners have over $3bn in their back pockets and selling out a 30k stadium every week gives us much more room in FFP than Luton. We will certainly strengthen again in January. Our owners and CEO are very much looking at us being the next Brighton/Bournemouth rather than the next Luton.

I think its more based on Luton were always up for the big teams at home and died out later in the year, and I think the Luton comparison is that Ipswich have been up for the games against the big teams this season.

Well Lopetegui has probably saved his job until at least Christmas with that win.

Have to say, playing Soucek as the DM and having Soler and Pacqueta as the 2 CM's, we looked a lot better in midfield and covered the ground a lot better.

You'd have think Eddie Howe would be under some pressure now though, that was a really lethargic performance from the Geordies, no spark at all.
