Yeah we have had a super soft start, at least we've negotiated it well enough outside of the shock loss at home to Forest.

If we were in 4th-6th right now with quite a few dropped points, it would be a disaster.
Can only beat who is in front of you. The Forest game a blip obviously but want to see you guys against tougher teams away from home.

Last night of 3pm kick's off at midnight in Vic / NSW for a while. 3pm Saturday get a lot tougher to watch (at least at my age) going forward.

Upside is midweek games are easier.
What I did last year reasonably successfully was asleep by 11, up at 2am then back to sleep after, so I'd still get a decent 7 hour sleep.

Clocks go back at the end of October in the UK, so a couple of weeks of 1am games for the 3pm kick-off.

Thanks for the reminder, I have to adjust when I call my parents.

Always a bit nervous with matches against Southampton. They tend to be a real bogey side for Arsenal, more so at St. Marys. 2 Draws against us 2 seasons ago when they finished bottoms proves we need to be on for this game and not take them lightly.

Feels like Liverpool have had the softest start to a season in history. Have they played a team in the top half yet?
This was doing the rounds the other day but doesn't take into account which were home and away games (Arsenal have had the hardest fixture of the 3 with City/Villa/Spurs away, City have had Chelsea/Newcastle away and Pool haven't played anyone in the current top 9 home or away).

Why did you have to remind me of that 😐

🤔 Nah still confident.

There was some stat on Sky Sports this morning about Southampton never winning a league game at Arsenal. Not sure if that's the Emirates or all time.

Southampton are 0-8-16 at Arsenal in the EPL.

Having said that, they are 2-6-16 at Man U and at Everton (!)

Seeing some rumours about Ten Hag possibly being sacked if United lose away at Villa.

I don't think a close loss is that bad. Villa have just come off beating Bayern ffs.
It's a long time coming, don't get me wrong, but away at Villa being the crunch game is pretty brutal. That's one of the hardest away days in the league.
