Yep they exchanged the possibility of pick 3 this year for Daniher playing 1 good game.AFL Website headline:
āBombersā massive win after Daniher becomes a lionā.
The AFL has given *don pick 7 as compensation fro Daniher.
pretty sure they knocked back Sydneyās pick 9 from last year and 1st pick this year (3).
Not sure how thatās a massive win...
Yep they exchanged the possibility of pick 3 this year for Daniher playing 1 good game.
Dodoro should get a medal
Cant believe these cheating grubs got #7 for a bloke who hasnt played in 2 years... and only got a 3 year contract that more than likely has a lot of triggers in it
I am genuinely curious, what do you guys think Dylan Shielis feeling about all that is happening right now with *? Within 2 years he has gone from nominating a club he wanted to win a flag with to a club who will not play finals for the foreseeable future and thatās in large part because players who he joined * to play side by side with - Saad, Daniher, Fantasia, McKenna - are leaving the club in the same trade window. There are not many big moves that have turned out worse than Shielās in such a short period of time.PLAYERCARDSTART9Dylan Shiel

He might have felt a bit better if the other club in the equation for his signature - Carlton - werenāt on the rise and have now become a destination club. What a spectacular fail.
Apparently Brad Scott is favourite to replace Dan Richardson as Essingtin's General Manager of Football

Yes but blind luck is there best opportunity deliberation and analysis is there weaknessThey're in the prime position to win Trade week again.
That's like 8 Trade week cups in a row for 0 on field progress.
I'm not worried they will unearth a hidden talent with Pick 7 in a year we haven't been able to watch these kids play. They miss the mark when they have the chance to see them.

toddkurnski:
Ran a performance enhancing drug program, AFL bailed them out firstly by tipping them off, then through a Kangaroo court to get them found not guilty.
Then got punished correctly by WADA and they are banned for 12 months. Lose their players, AFL bail them out with top ups so they can play. Even though the whole club ran the program and the club should have been banned along with the players.
Finish last with the top ups, bailed out again by receiving pick 1 in the draft in year they should not have been allowed to play.
Daniher wants out, offered 2 top ten picks, refuse to trade and hold up our trade for Papley. Daniher still can't get on the park and still wants to leave. Bailed out again with ridiculous compo pick 7.
Terribly run club whose management should be kicked out by the members, but they are so used to being compensated for their own @#$%&! ups they continue to make them over and over again.
And the AFL keep rewarding them for their @#$%&! ups. I'm 100% certain when we gutted the list in 2015 we were repeatedly told by everyone at HQ and in the media we did it to ourselves and should sort it out by ourselves and not to expect any concessions. Not even and end of round 1 pick.
These cauliflower keep putting their hand out, get gifted compensation for failure all the while everyone tells them how awesome they are going and we want them to be strong again. They're not going anywhere, they've been propped up by the AFL for the last decade.
Tin arsed pretenders. If they never hit rock bottom, they'll never see how badly they are run as a club. That's the silver lining in all this
