Is it.. I would say having Voss come down at the tail end of the Brisbane and all of the Melbourne game seemed to give the team a little more, whether it be direction, inspiration, or having the coach be closer to the moment and heat may have helped.

Btw what I find amusing about Slobbo and other Essendon loving sycophants, both on social media and in the media in general is that they cried many tears for Mark Harvey when he was brutally sacked by Freo for Ross Lyon, saying he was treated dismally and with contempt by The Dockers, yet have no such issues and compassion or sorrow for Ben Rutten, in almost the exact sense circumstance.

The AFL is the only football game, in the rest of the world, where the coach/manager sits and watches the game from an elevated position, all the soccer comps, NFL, etc they are on the side lines.....would hardly call it contrived..

They are now clearly the most shambolic/political club off field at least in Victoria.
So many vested interests, coterie group influence, Dodoro, Sheedy and various other egotistical w***ers.
From our perspective, they can keep it going, they still have the same sense of entitlement that we had until the rebuild commenced under Bolts, and believe hard work is for other clubs and they deserve success just cos they are Essendon.

Rattan is proving he ain't up to it. Plus Malthouse only came to us to break the coaching/playing record. Clarkson still loves the game and is back to prove his greatness. No similarities at all.
