Essendon are now the one to watch out for - They can win the premiership

Every team has a blip on the path to September glory. If it wasn't for the umpires completely swinging the momentum of the game in the third quarter, I suspect we would have seen another comprehensive Essendon victory.

That’s ridiculous rubbish.

The squiggle is not David King..after all.

In other news .. being a Victorian trapped in the wonderous vortex of WA greatness, I must confess that I miss sth melbourne dimsims ever so much.

In fact, any dimsim from Victorian fishchip
Shop. Because in Perth , they are all garbage.

Current squiggle projection

Those frees were farked completely swung momentum Geelongs way

We will have Laura Kane on Monday ticking it off just to rub it in even more admit you got those decisions wrong

No question that Essendon are a tough side who on the big stage on the big occasion.

Anyone who doubts them is in for a shock.

Strap yourself in. The Edge will slice through the final series.

Huge consequences out of this game.

Pies lose and they will miss top 4 and most likely will be also rans.

Essendon lose and Essington is officially back!

Did my ladder predictor (incl a Coll win this week)

Sydney 84
Carlton 68
Collingwood 64
Geelong 60
Brisbane 58
Freo 58
Essendon 54
GWS 52

That’d be 13.5 wins for us which is a huge season, would be very happy.

Would need four more wins, our best chances are

Adelaide (Marvel)
St Kilda (Marvel)
Freo (MCG)
Gold Coast (Marvel)

The Freo game is the big one. That’ll probably decide whether we play finals.

Either way, with our % we’re not finishing any higher than 7th, so we’ll be out in the first week.

I hope the Bombers win the flag. If not the Dockers, then them.

Interesting run home
Geelong (MCG) - Likely win
Collingwood - 50/50
Melbourne - 50/50
Adelaide (Marvel) - likely win
St Kilda (Marvel) - likely win
Dockers (MCG) - 50/50
Gold Coast (Marvel) - Guaranteed win
Sydney (Marvel) - 50/50
Brisbane (Gabba) - likely loss

They are lucky they get Sydney late who will likely have already sewn up top spot and be resting players.

14.5 or 15.5 wins is my tip. 3rd-7th
This didn’t take long to age well.

I give Collingwood practically zero chance. Edge is going to flex on the competition tonight. Tullamarine by 56.

All of you “Essendon hasn’t beaten anyone” flogs will need to find some new way to discredit the top 4 Bombers.

That sort of margin could send the pies down to 13th

Good enough incentive to bury the pies?

I don't think about Collingwood anymore. Lucky premiership. Doubt they play finals. Not in the premiership conversation. Rather ordinary football team.

I do think about Darcy Moore. Only his knees though, nothing else. Just hope our Coleman Medallists get through that game while maintaining normal organ function.

Bombers are the best team in the top 4 easily, they have a good forward line, good middle and a good defense. They are cooking along nicely, best team in the top 4 followed by Sydney and the Blues. Can't see Essendon not making it all the way and winning it all, what a awesome effort it is by the Bombers.

Obviously need to win tonight, but a win against an undermanned Pies they've got so close to wouldn't convince me yet. Carlton and Sydney are the ones they need to beat, obviously. The other top 8 sides are gettable on their day in finals.

I think they're not too far off but it would take a fair improvement in form, by let's say a good 20%, to be a flag contender this year. Not too sure they're on the road to a premiership window in 25-26 either, we'll see, interesting times ahead.
