God I hope that Aliir and Reid don’t get injured. Not because I think they will but because I couldn’t stand the “I told you so”s on here. It is clear that Knoll is not ready. Why did we draft him? Because he has potential to be good just like any other draftee. Aliir and Reid are the best fit for this game.

You’ll find we’re not so much the “I told you so” type as the dreamers who like to think we’re still a chance. Lose one of our keys (Reid or Aliir) and we’re done. I don’t want to be done.

Spot on BfB. I hope Cox is giving Allir a crash course in protecting himself in ruck contests.

Reid and Allir are up against an ordinary ruck in Zac Clarke. In future weeks we play some talented and aggressive monsters. I hope Grassy really turns it on in the 2s and earns a debut next week.

Goals are going to be hard to come by on the Big ground with no Franklin and Reid spending 50% of the time in the ruck. Mosquito Fleet forward line will have a hard time getting it done especially if Papley spends time through the midfield which he did for periods last week with Ronkes return. Hope I'm wrong but these methodist ****** are well known front runners who get their tails up and last week gave them a shot in the arm pardon the pun.
One thing is for certain. There’s sure to be some kind of dramatic twist to the result. Dunno what it is about Swans Vs Bombers.

I'm a dreamer.

We're always a chance IMO.

Unlike the majority here I have a soft spot for the Bombers (the drugs stuff aside, as that was disgusting)... I gew up with so many Bombers supporting friends, family etc. Been watching them since I was little, know their players & watch them with those friends/family often... So I am in a fantastic position to say we should push them & I'm confident if we maintain our high pressure & solid defence we should get the win easily... Essendons big issue is fwd 50 delivery. Quick on the rebound but pathetic once it gets within 60m of their goal. If we can get Hurley one out on a fast breaking/leading fwd that will help too... Don't let them get an extra man back. 1on1 & clear space & they will struggle against a flying Heeney/Parker + fast Hazy/Paps etc.

I'm glad it's Clarke and not Bellchambers in the ruck. Our weakness could become our strength since Aliir and Reid would absolutely torch Clarke around the ground and probably break even in the ruck.

This is why I feel we’ve taken a bit of a gamble. It’s only Clarke.

Re last sentence - the Bloods represent some of what is worth fighting for in life. The Dopers' are the antithesis of anything positive in life.

I'm a dreamer.

I’d agree you were a dreamer right, but then I suspect you will tell me you are not the only one and hope someday we will join you so the world can live as one
