Just did a ladder predictor... if we are going to make finals IMO this is probably the most crucial game to win. It's there for the taking... if we are going to be a chance come finals then we need to win this (+ no injuries for the rest of the season...)

Quite content to go into one game with just Reid and Aliir in the ruck. If Knoll isn't up to notch yet for senior footy then so be it. We'll lose the taps but last week Aliir did some things in the follow up that rucks are rarely capable of doing. Managed to get the subsequent ground ball and burst away from the centre clearance with some pretty decent acceleration. Bombers have brought in that spud Clarke again so no big disadvantage there.

Good to see Harry back, hopefully he picks up where he left off.

Maybe I'm being overconfident but we are 100% going to win the flag this year.

If Danger, Kelly, Pendles, Coniglio, Cameron, Hawkins and Degoey are all out with season ending injuries and we make finals, we are real chance.

I would never wish injury on any player but I hope they all do have season ending injuries. Now I'm off to get a Swans 2019 Premiers tattoo.

Swans to down the Bombers by 20
and walk out of the MCG with the head held high

Tommy P for 3 Goals
COR for 30+ Disp

A Depleted team can be a Dangerous team
Lads come in with points to prove and anything can happen

When we were at the Euros - After our draw against Sweeden and a Stonking at the hands of the Belgians
(Never liked their Pale Ales anyway)
We had a make or Break game against the Italians.
I still hadnt recovered from the injury so told Martin not to include me for the game

My thinking was two fold - Big Tractor not starting meant the lads could be fully focused
and know they had to play better than ever to make up for me missing out.

It also meant i could use my natural Wit and Friendliness to Relax everyone.

If we were to beat the Italians one man was Key - Robert Brady
I called to his Hotel room the day before the game 7pm , i dragged him to the Residence bar.
2 Bottles of warm Smithicks off the shelf.
I started Singing Songs and telling Stories
Somewhere after the 15th Créme de Menthe and Baileys and 4th rendition of Fairytale of New York
Bobby slipped off to Bed - it was 6am
I knew he was relaxed

85th minute - Wesley sends a peach into the Box - Bobby Bangs it home
BOSH - straight off his Bonce.
Crowd Erupts it woke me from my Slumber on the Bench - Best Hangover of my Life

I think these have moved into the “look forward to” category.

Like a Suits episode or a Star Wars movie.

A SoHo bartender is likely to be a bigger nonce than our premiership footballer friend.

Or the one beating them half to death. :handfist:🤣
Soho was a bit rougher back before mobile phones. There were hookers, and showgirls, standover/doormen, market stall shonks, crooks and punks. Not like it probably is today - full of advertising types and their hairdresser boyfriends. :grinning: (I'm sure it's much nicer that way now)
You decide which one I was. ;) Anyway that was an interesting year, and I appreciate the stories from our friend above, reminds me of the old days.

Anyway footy eh, was great to see that sniper Will Hoskin-Elliot lose the game for the Pies tonight. Let's hope for an exciting game tomorrow and the bad guys losing again.

Looking forward to getting the W at the MCG and fully expect COR to show why he'll be a swannie for years to come. Glad McVeigh isn't back in, poor lad would get injured drinking a creamy pint of Guinness these days.

Reid to kick 4+ goals and swannies to continue the drive for top 8.

You've made me thirsty now.
i hope Reid will be in the forward 50 enough to kick those 4 goals. If he doesn't get them we are going to struggle.
