Collingwood was close to beating Richmond late in the season and had shown good form in their games leading up to that prelim. Other than a win against Freo, your form is dead set ordinary. Pies are a class above. Saying that I hope you can knock them off. Once again good luck.

Nah we are definitely a few tiers under the best teams in the comp - that’s for sure.
But nothing is for certain in this league - it only takes one on, or off day for a big upset to happen, then a week after you think ‘should’ve seen that coming’.

But to the question of who I hope we play - honestly I don’t mind - Stringer, Shiel, Saad, Redman, McKernan, Brown, Francis, Langford are all going to play their first final for Essendon, Hooker’s first since 2014 (touch wood for all the above) - that’s the most exciting part for me - this season has been all over the shop and we’ve probably only played 4 quarters of good footy two or three times - so kinda just feel lucky that they got there, it’s a chance to turn an average year into a good one.

Wouldn't mind playing GWS at all, they aren't in good nick atm. Haven't kicked a 2nd half goal the last 2 games and I can't imagine they'll get a heap out of beating Gold Coast this week.

People saying they would rather us lose this week are kidding themselves. If we lose to Collingwood on Friday night we would be absolutely no chance to beat them two weeks later with De Goey, Sidebottom and Stephenson back. Our best chance of winning a final is if we play GWS(anywhere) end of story.
