Tickets for Sunday in Melbourne were gone at the public on-sale this morning :(
Dynamic pricing doing what it's meant to do - maximise profit for those gaming the system and **** those true fans with a genuine interest in the sport. Not something the Vic Govt would ever condone if it was the AFL GF but seem willing to look the other way when it's the Aust GP because its part of what the FIA and especially FOCA demand as a condition to stage the event.

You and your family passionate about F1? FOCA don't give a shit.

Have a fat wad of cash in trust and generous tax payer funded offsets for hospitality benefits that you want to offload? FOCA can guarantee you access to the F1 paddock and a swathe of GA tickets accessed via the dynamic pricing model for your organisation to access and use for publicity purposes.

Geez I'm glad I got to see the Australian GP in Adelaide in the 80s when the fans actually mattered.

think it’s more a sign of the times rather than anything else.

Toyota back in F1 with Haas
yep!

“MoneyGram Haas F1 Team enters into a technical partnership with TOYOTA GAZOO Racing.

In the new multi-year partnership, TGR will provide design, technical and manufacturing services to Haas, while Haas will offer technical expertise and commercial benefits in return.”

I was successful in the ballot, but decided not to use it after I finally got through the queue to discover that prices had been jacked up an extra 25% with their "dynamic pricing model"... will login again tomorrow during general sale. FFS Ticketmaster!!
I get that it's a popular event, but these jacked up prices during presales is just stuffed. Preying on people who are desperate to go to events/concerts knowing that they'll be scared of missing out.
Don’t blame ticketmaster. They don’t pocket the extra cash. I assume they do get more as part of the percentage of sales, but the bulk goes to the event promoter. In this case, F1.

But Marko said the driver pairings for both Red Bull teams are not yet fully decided, as Marko told F1-Insider.com that “Tsunoda is a candidate to drive alongside Max in 2025.

He honestly should be. Even if he's a bit of a hot head, he will deliver more than Sergio does, and probably crash less.

Is the impression in the paddock of Marko one of him still being mentally sharp? He basically seems to be a rent-a-quote for clickbaity F1 sites to a level that overplays his importance to RBR. Or is that unfair?

I do wonder if they are dipping the toe in to see whether it's worth doing the engine supply thing again
Apparently it's because they were losing Japanese racers to Honda (for in country racing series)
