Pretty obvious, I would have thought because every year we hear from two teams supporters, claiming that their Club won FA & Trade Week.

:freo: & :essendon:

So no reason to think that they wont win FA & Trade Week again this year.

Meanwhile in the real world, all the other Clubs let these two Clubs and their supporters, spruik their October FA & Trade Week victories from the mountain tops, as all the other Clubs sleep safely, reassured by reality.

That stark reality is the brutal truth, which is:

  • One of these Clubs has never won a Premiership .
  • And the another hasn't won a final in over 20 years.

General consensus from all the other Clubs supporters, is that may this trend continue :thumbsu: allowing the two Clubs to continue to claim they have won FA & Trade Week, providing their finals records stay unchanged other than the addition of years to their sorry plight.

Richmond will win this easily

Out : 4 short as*s that have all come close to their use by date
In : 8 fresh highly talented kids that will for the next Dynasty

You can't judge Richmond's trade week for 4 years because it will depend on how well they draft given how young a side they will have the next couple of years. A lot riding on this draft pool for them.

What he say **** me for...

So far...

1. Gold Coast - managed 2x salary dumps, traded in Noble along with 2x F1sts. Will lose mantle if they pay crazy overs for Rioli.
1. Collingwood - 2 quality ins Houston & Perryman FA to stay in premiership hunt.
2. Adelaide - 3 quality ins - Cumming, ANB & Peatling (hopefully).
3. Carlton - trading up to pick 3.

17. Port - losing Houston, F1 & taking 2x Suns salary dumps for no discount. Lukosius should be handy though.
18. West Coast - giving away pick 3 for Baker.

Richmond - likely to move to top spot if they get crazy overs for Rioli & Bolton

I'm sceptical of your method.

People are focusing on Houston in being a massive win for the Pies, but they've given up a bit for him.

Another F1, Pick 36, and two players. No picks before 50-odd this season when they should be looking to begin a transitional period.

I don’t agree that this is a big price to pay for Houston (even if we finish mid table next year) and even then you’re forgetting that we only need points for McGuane as f/s next year so that first rounder would get absorbed by the new points system anyway. We’ll just have to get our hands on another second rounder somehow to see where the bid comes.

A Geelong fan should know that Collingwood doesn't need draft picks to rebuild.

Too soon to say,

All in strategy for Collingwood - better come off in 2025 - this is coming;
