Admittedly that is not an area odf strength for us ... although I suspect some deluded biased fans of other clubs might not agree! The only thing Cotchin brings is tips on cheap shot techniques.

The Tigers won flags in the 60's and 70's with snipers and cheap shots all over the ground. It used to be a violent game with survival of the fittest.Admittedly that is not an area odf strength for us ... although I suspect some deluded biased fans of other clubs might not agree!

AwwwwwPoint on the doll where Zorko hurt you buddy
Not wishing to get into any argument about it bit Zorks is/was a little guy and just about the only decent player in a crap team who got battered from pillar to post most weeks and taught himself to stand up to it.Be struggling to teach zorko anything he hasn’t mastered already
Should note though for everyone, Cotchin’s appointment at our club is only on a part-time basis and he is DEFINITELY NOT moving over here to Brisbane to live (as of yet):What was he, 22 years old when he took over as captain at the shambles that was Richmond back then? Reckon he might have some experience dealing with pressure and expectations.

What happens if the Storm and Lions are playing on the same afternoon in Melbourne... young Trent better choose us Lions.Atleast we have got him for game days in Melbourne.
It’s just a hop skip and jump from the MCGWhat happens if the Storm and Lions are playing on the same afternoon in Melbourne... young Trent better choose us Lions.
Melbourne Storm can just have his younger brother instead on that day, Cotch TrentinWhat happens if the Storm and Lions are playing on the same afternoon in Melbourne... young Trent better choose us Lions.
I think it's more tactics. At what point do we finally address the lack of ruthlessness to put away teams. We get leads and then just wade the game out which allows teams to get back into it.
In the last five years the only time we have put a team away and played four quarters was Kangaroos a couple of years back.
We are too nice. But that’s what you get when you have a coach that isn’t ruthless. It means players aren’t ruthless.
Look at all premiership coaches. They played ruthless or coached ruthless. It’s no secret you need grunt to coach an AFL premiership - something we lack.
The media need to look into this and lay pressure on the club.
Fagan just doesn’t have a ruthless bone in his body. When he played, after he tackled somebody he probably helped them up, apologised for tackling them and asked if they were ok.
Guarantee you this won’t be the only game we let teams back into. There is no killer instinct in this team.
Oh really? At what point do we finally address the lack of ruthlessness to put away teams. We get leads and then just wade the game out which allows teams to get back into it.

Yeah, but it's someone new making the point. I like it.Feel like we’ve been over this ad nauseam and probably will until (if) Fages ever wins a flag with this group. Whether that’s right or not is probably up for debate.
I personally think if we don’t at least make it back to the GF this year, both the club and Fages might sit down together and see what’s best moving forward for all parties.
It wouldn’t surprise if we see a succession plan in place even at some stage.
He's not. He's shown that he has a ruthless side. He's shown that he doesn't try and shut a game down.Oh really?
McRae is a clone of Fagan.
I think our guys are hard enough if they were given the green light. If we want a harder edge bring Mark Williams back in some capacity. He seems to have been the brains behind the Demons success.
Port were in a similar position to what we are now, going into 2004.
