Did you make that logo yourself? That is much better than the one that was leaked a few weeks ago.

I was on the fence about the merits of Fevola for Pick 12 and Henderson. Ideally I would have liked to have kept Henderson and sent McDonald, but it was clear that Carlton wanted a forward of some kind to replace Fevola. I'm pleased that Bradshaw ended up staying. Hopefully he'll now finish his career at the club. So it probably had to be Henderson, when Bradshaw wasn't happy about going.

I guess my reaction to the Lions' trading is best summed up by the quote below.

For all the carrying on, all Brisbane have essentially done is lose pick #12 and a young KPP who might turn out to be a dud. They have added a superstar and a support cast that could yield 1 or 2 players who are more than useful.

They had #28 & #44, now they have #27 & #47. Nothing really changes there. People act like they've thrown their future away and won't be drafting any young players. Later picks are practically useless ... pot luck at best ... and will more than likely turn out to be worse than the likes of Clarke, Staker etc.

No point waiting around for their ageing superstars to retire and build on youth so they can maintain 6th or 7th for the next 10 years, might as well take a chance now and go for it.

I guess we will be next seasons circus, like the Tigers were this year with Cousins...the media will go crazy again..

Yes I will be uncomfortable with that but we were always 4 pages back into the sport section of The Courier Complaint apparently so it would be a change to be back page news I guess. I think it will all die down after a while. But I am with you MacMum on the trade of Fevola. If half of what I have heard is true I am very uncomfortable with him here. My advice to him it to give alcohol a miss for the rest of his playing career and even his life as he is not one that can afford to drink as he has no control. Not a good sign for him and his family let alone his footy clubs.

The first highlight next year will be when Browny,Braddy and Fev all head down to the forward line together before the first bounce. Can't wait to see how the opposition defenders try to match them up.

If there is a God (or if we get an even break from Anderson for once) we will be playing against the Judd-less Blues in Round 1 at the Gabba!

I have a feeling they will play at the MCG next year, should get a better than average crowd. Fevola loves the G too.

by trading henderson they have traded part of their faith

And yet Carlsmeg haven't traded any part of their faith, by trading Fev...? The guy was a servant of a terrible club. He had MANY opportunities to leave you, but he stayed. Now, you kick him out.

WWJCD - the Christians would ask.

WWCJD - is all Carlsmeg need to know.

Im sure he will get a lot of goal kicking practise at the Gabba. He isn't great up here, but he isn't that bad either. Pre season infront of the sticks and i think he will be right to slot them through easy enough.

I hope to see Bradshaw and Fev starting from the goal square, and Brown starting abou 35m out. He can lead up and down the ground creating space for the other 2 to lead into. Thats a defender each, meaning to have a 'floating loose' defender, a team is using up 4 defenders just for those 3, and thats assuming one 'floating' defender can or could cover all 3. I dont think its possible for a team to clog up the leading space without flooding back, and if that happens, we should be able to get on top in the midfield.

There is 3 big men there that can take a pack mark, or as Fev has done a couple of time recently, destroy the player sitting in the hole (Ted Richards anyone?), and with Rich and Drummo kicking from well outside the 50 teams cannot simply collapse into the forward 50.
