Fevola to Brisbane MERGED THREADS

Good deal given we're trying to offload Fevola.

Some people don't understand the situation.

Rischitelli is good insurance for Walker.

Bradshaw gives us 50 goals a year and a forward who knows how to work with another forward.

Fevola sucks all the air out of forwardline.

Kreuzer, Setanta and Waite won't have the pressure of being the go to target with Bradshaw at FF.

Bradshaw will work other forwards better than Fevola.

And we don't have to rely on Cloke.

PS. get a life parrot and take the needle off your broken record you dried up old spinster.

Re: Fevola to Brisbane for Bradshaw + Rischitelli??

Oh come on, Fev is a million times the player Bradshaw is. They will have 2 of the top 3 forwards in the league in the one team, first and second in the Coleman.

As far as the Rischitelli part of the deal goes, I can't really comment cause I haven't seen enough of him. I don't like the idea of Fev and Bradshaw trading places though. Not at all.

And you know what, Fevola might be one of our biggest strengths, but he is also our biggest weakness. We went to him so often when we went forward, that we looked pretty stupid in recent times.

I do realise that Fev is a better FF than Bradshaw, but I keep saying, but no-one wants to listen - Fev is on a massive contract, and we were always going to have to accept "under his market value" to move him on.

Carlton have made up their minds that FEVOLA will never play for Carlton again, and they will take the best possible deal available.

Re: Fevola to Brisbane for Bradshaw + Rischitelli??

It's starting to hit home. Carlton are going to be pretty boring to watch without Fevola, not a single player with personality :(

You are so full of poop.

Boring?

We have Judd and Gibbs in the midfield.

We have Betts, Garlett, Yarran in the forward line.

Throw in Waite and Bower down back and there's enough players to provide excitment around the ground.

Boring is when we have a one dimnesional game plan to kick it to Fev and it doesn't work.

At the Lions he was more than a 18-22 player. Can be a clearance winner, can put on a lot of tackles, can kick a goal from 50 and can play a shutdown role. He's no gun but he is a very solid midfielder.

Yeah seen a lot of him live, his stats don't tell the whole story. Does a lot of the 1% work, and has a knack at kicking long goals.

Would you prefer we trade him to the Pies for #14?

I'd rather give Brisbane a leg up than the Pies, that's for sure.

That was the crux of it wasn't it, and I'd feel exactly the same if roles were reversed.

It does look as if it were a 'fire sale' for Fev and the Blues have done the best they could under the circumstances. If you can wrangle that pick 12 off Brisbane then you'll have done as well as you could I expect.

How many ****ing midfielders do we need on our list?

Re: Fevola to Brisbane for Bradshaw + Rischitelli??

I sure hope that there is no substance on this and Niall just got his information from a random caller on SEN who suggested the same deal was on the cards.

If this is true I will NOT be impressed :mad::thumbsdown::thumbsdown:

Get stuff with this trade,we be bottom 4 marks my word and struggle in the future.Trade fev to Collingwood if they give us a great pick like 1st pick and one of their young forward, stop all this crap about him not playing for Collingwood or Essendon.

Why would we take a player who might have 1 or 2 years left and a fringe player from Brisbane

Our midfield is stronger than yours. The only starting 22 position is see for him is as a defensive forward.

Gee Fev must have done something really bad if Carlton is prepared to trade him for those two.

Not getting close to his value.

Will be amazed if this went through, surely you could get something better than this.
Perhaps you can ask your ugly footy club to make us a better offer and go for a flag.

They'd have to grow a pair before that happened...

To add to this he is Brisbanes best tackler by a mile. Definantly no spud.

I reckon if Fev was still available on Friday and we had secured Jolly we would have made a move. This looks like a done deal though, according to just about everyone, so it wont matter what we offer now.

All week you guys have been telling everyone Swann knows what he is doing, but if this deal goes through, then it is quite clear he doesn't.

We do not deal with the toothless ferals at the filth...

Now that the lions have thrown their cap in the ring, expect the jolly deal to rush through because suddenly it'll be imperative that the filth get a ruckman and Sydney can trade Jolly to the dawks for a player and pick 9.

Nice to see the filth screwing themselves in trade week again by trying to be cute.

This comment explains your spite and dislike of the deal without looking rationally at it, hence your trolling comments.

FWIW i am so glad we didnt deal with you Pie ferals you can now leave.

Just remember who told you first that we still had interest in Bradshaw!! :p

Seems while everyone was wasting time on a thread about Sydney started by a gimp my legit mail was much closer to the mark in closer to the club and player...

Even if they were being slightly coy with the information provided.

We will have to give the Lions something else to get #12 off them or their supporters will go nuts. That's if the Lions want to make it equitable.

#12, Bradshaw and Rischitelli for Fevola, #27 and Hadley (if he does want to go that is).

or we get the Dogs involved

Carlton get: Rischitelli, Bradshaw, Everitt
Lose: Fevola, Hadley, #27

Lions get: Fevola, #15, Hadley
Lose: Bradshaw, #12, Rischitelli

Dogs get: #12, #27
Lose: #15, Everitt

This way the Lions don't lose a 1st rounder but lose 3 spots. They don't like it because they love Bradshaw but he is on the market almost every trade week and seemingly wants to go back to Melbourne at some point and COULD have a year or two at the most left. Just a transition forward to help us work on our structures. Might even make a good forwards coach after that. Lions also get Hadley back for the price of that 1st round demotion.

The Dogs get the #27 we were offering for Everitt plus a handy 1st round upgrade.

We get the best deal we can under our terrible circumstances.
