Should be good seats as you would be at the front of the stand rather than right up the top. South eastern pocket near the 50 meter line.

As for the bolded bit, there are a few clubs in Hindley street you could try out :p:p

I'll play nice - don't try to smuggle booze in - you'll get caught. Booze is OK to buy anyway. Eat outside AO or BYO. The food is absolute crap and hideously expensive. In those seats bring a poncho and coat in case it rains, is cold or both. Have a great time. (But not tooooo good! :D)

Yep i just went on to ticketek and had a look and just clicked on Western stand and got offered seats on section 313.

The AFC said earlier in the week that after the members sale, the stadium will be open slather. They are also offering standing room tickets in the Western stand too
You got tickets in the same section that I did, and you're not a regular member? Very interesting. Also, yesterday someone rang 5AA and said he was told they weren't selling standing room tickets in the Western stand. What a failure of communication!

I understand there are general admission tickets for $35? If you're happy to stand out in the open, that would be a cheaper option.

Yeah, I'm going by myself, so $35 to stand on the hill sounds like a much better (cheaper) option than $90 to sit in the nosebleeds

The hill is a hotspot to get caught with booze. Everywhere else is fine if your careful and chuck it down the pants on entry to avoid the wand wavers on entry.

I cant imagine you would get caught that easily. For example, my teenage kids bring a 1.25 litre drink in the backpack each to drink. If I were to make one of those Bourbon and coke, who would know?

Flying over from Perth and ended up with seats in bay 331 row C in the Eastern stand.
First time at Adelaide oval Are these OK? And any tips for an AO virgin?
Yeah here's a tip. Doesn't matter where you sit, you'll ****ing love it.

Just had a look where 331 is. - magnificent seats:thumbsu:

As someone who stands on the Hill, I've seen numerous times people get escorted away for byo booze infractions. One game this year the revenue collection/fun police/patron care team came 3 times in the quarter to nab someone. If only the cameras for the goal reviews were as good as the ones focussed on the hill.

Surely seats in the Western Stand aren't available for the General public? I was sure it was Essential Crows or Adelaide Oval members only? Maybe they're more expensive because they're corporate seats.

Just got the below email so yes anyone now can as they are still available

If you know any Crows supporters who might be interested in getting tickets, there are still some fantastic tickets still available in the Western Stand.

This morning, out of interest I just asked for 8 tickets in the Western Stand and was given 8 consecutive seats in Section 408, Row G . These are the red seats in the Bradman Stand in front of the dining room (usually corporates only). These seats are arguably close to the best seats at Adelaide Oval.

When they said "best available" at 10 a.m. on Tuesday, they were not exactly accurate.
