Yep like we used our sub named Dylan Stephens a few weeks ago and he had 9 touches in a quarter.

And then didn’t against Melbourne great plan that was lol

I agree with you though one of Stephens or JMac as sub with one playing a quarter (sub off the least influential tall with a quarter to go)

If it rains would it be safe to say that we'd prefer that?

Lately I've been shocked that we play very decent and clean wet weather footy when we've normally been a poor team in rain?

We smashed the crows in the wet for three quarters.

Anyone keeping a close eye on the blues and how they fair in the wet?

Sounding like its gonna be a massive slog in the wet.

Should limit McKay and Curnow influence might work in our favor.

Whoever wins is cooked for next week lol.
I honestly rekn we'll win this in a canter. Blues will win the stoppage can write that down. But what the blues lack is good ball movement and direction going forward, they make it up as they go, backwards, sideways, bombs, bit of this bit of that, hoping for some individual brilliance which does get them over the line sometimes.

But being the no 1 pressure team and excellent at scoring from the turnover with ball movement, we'll eat them up in the turnover game if they give us an inch, which they will. Key is to not let them get a run of cheap goals from curnow clunks and arsey motlop/martin snaps. Saad also has to be stopped as he's the only one they've got that can get the ball moving with intention.

If it rains, even better for us. Also rekn blues approach this like we did the granny. Overly pumped and nervous energy

Only jmac is fine, he's x10 the player. Last thing we need is a lost Stephens on the expanses of the G. Stephens has done well coming on with fresh legs in the last.

Really not fussed either way you can make a case for Stephens who actually isn’t coming back from injury. You play guys 85% fit you get burnt we’ve seen this script before look no further than the infamous final. I have no issue starting with JMac but have the runner as the sub not some silly tall or Francis

I should rephrase - if Jmac is 100% fit, he plays. On all accounts he is.

That’s my issue do you trust them there’s fit and then there’s match fit. I don’t see us losing much either way. Both play one as the sub not fussed either way

If a match fit Jmac is 10x better than Stephens, an un-match fit Jmac is 9x better.

They would've put in a hard week on the track, so if he got through that with some run in the legs he will be perfectly match fit. He had 3 weeks off not 3 months.

Didn’t we hear the same thing when we played Mills in a final among others? I’m very sceptical bringing blokes in that haven’t played in a month

With rain and hail can see amartey being completely uninfluential. I'd prefer to not play him and make sure Clarke keeps his spot.

Agreed but we won’t. Would lock Clarke onto Saad
