I think your summary of the incident is pretty accurate - a bit gross but if consensual it isn't the biggest thing in the world. But the problem is he has alleged form for poor behaviour towards women. A prosecution withdrawn for indecent assault in 2021 is not a court verdict of guilt or innocence, and he pled guilty in the US to harassment (after more serious charges were downgraded). Both incidents occured at nightclubs/clubs.

Of course there was going to be scrutiny on him and frankly, he deserves it.

without the US incident, no-one would be batting an eyelid at the Bali trip, however much it screams stupid boy.

That's the thing though, once an 'elite/privileged' person screws up they are held to higher, reformed standards.

And they all know that, it's how is always been and it goes with the territory. He just chooses to not accept that and to continue to live his way.

He should also then be ready to accept the backlash. Or at the very least, not to post or let stuff be posted. Or get better party people. Ones who won't post videos in public forums.

There was training for our boys while they had time off so I expect it was the same for other clubs to.

There is always personal training for players in their breaks. Usually its some running or something to maintain their fitness base. There is nothing to suggest he would or wouldnt have been doing that while away

I’d stay in the CBD or Southbank and then catch the free bus (5min) to the Gabba. You can basically get on any bus.

I have been burnt by air bnb a few times now. This most recent trip when I went up for the Saints game, the cancelled on us 9 days before we flew up. We booked it months in advance. Safe to say there were bugger all available for remotely the same budget, and it’s not like this one was cheap. I am just about done with them!
