Find me a quote please. He was a moderate in the Libs, he's no Fraser Anning
He wasn't a moderate. He got voted out in Kooyong because he backed everything Scomo said that includes Katherine Deves, Christian Porter and Brittany Higgins.
Women voted him out.
He was an average treasurer and an average bloke.

He was more likely to vote with Anning in Parliament than against him, there's more to being a moderate Lib than just saying you're one.

This is 100% correct. He racked up 800 billion in debt, f'd up his forecasts by 60 billion dollars on one occasion, handed billions in taxpayer money to companies that were themselves generating record profits, deliberately ducked the university sector up the arse, and ducked the energy supply up the arse as well. So he's about as competent as anyone else at the AFL.

His attitude to governance is another red flag for a code that has had its fair share of governance issues.

Frydenberg had a chance to demonstrate his knowledge of sport by calling Katherine Deves out on how professional sports operate but he didn't.

Interesting that a number of high profile sportswomen have expressed severe reservations on this including Emma Mckeon and Navratilove. Renee Richards, the tennis trail blazer is even against it saying that, had she transitioned ten years earlier she would have been unbeatable.

I think the AFL have already banned one anyway?

I disagree completely with Deves but many don't. To single Frydenberg out on this is a bit much. No one man (even Gil) makes decisions like that.

Also, as was proven, He had a little more to be concerned about than Scomo's captains pick in a seat in which the Libs had virtually flown the white flag.

Except Frydenberg didn't support Deves. Quite the opposite:

''Frydenberg told ABC Radio National on Thursday morning: “I would use different language to what the prime minister has used, and I’ve been pretty outspoken and strong in my criticism of the way Katherine Deves has approached this issue.”

Youre asserting he's some kind of Nazi.

Prove it with quotes.

Its not my job to disprove it for *s sake.
No I'm not. Wrong poster mate.
He also enjoyed and voted for locking up refugee children for 8 years until they got mental illness which the UN and Amnesty International condemned.
Yeah a real moderate! Gmab.

But he endorsed her for the seat because he saw a vote in it.
That's what you call a lack of character and lack of principles.

Wut? He doesnt have a say in her seat?

He fully repudiated her views as repugnant. And now you're here saying he's transphobic.

He literally stated the exact opposite!
Did he ever call for her to be disendorsed for her hate speech? No. That equals tacit endorsment. The guy is a grub that's why he lost his seat in a landslide, a seat held for 80 yearsand by a sitting treasurer.

No he didnt!

When asked on Thursday, Frydenberg backed up the prime minister’s office’s denial it was managing Deves’ campaign.

“That claim is completely rejected by the prime minister’s office, and I myself have been very clear in rejecting what Katherine Deves has been saying,” Frydenberg said.

Josh Frydenberg distances himself from Scott Morrison over Katherine Deves

He had no say in her pre selection, or her campaign, and clearly rejected (and opposed) everything that she said about trans people.

I'm not singling Frydenberg out however for someone that follows sports like tennis then I would think he would know it has a gender policy and its largely beyond the Australian government's control and he had the opportunity to point that out, and Martina Navratilova's position on gender deserves more attention due to her caring deeply about her sport and about equality.

No it doesnt. He expressly said the exact opposite! That he repudiates her views wholly.

Jesus Christ mate.

The Coalition have a policy where members can have different views. They're even allowed to cross the floor (unlike the ALP) on issues.

Go after Deves all you want. Tarring Frydenberg with the same brush is clearly wrong.

Extremists because they introduced gay marriage when no previous government Labor or Liberal did?
"introduced gay marriage":p

They so did not

Despite knowing that around two thirds of the population were in favour, they still held a horribly divisive plebiscite which to me was the most embarrassing time in history to be an Australian

They have drifted so far from Menzies that you can't recognise them, they are absolutely far-right extremists
