Too much "I think" in that article for any of it to be credible imo.
What a waste of space.
just looking at the doctors name is enough for me to dismiss the article

I agree. I think a med degree would enable him to fill in the gaps, even from the boundary line: the club said in late jan/ early feb that Buddy had a cyst behind the knee from previous injury (2011 finals) and that it wasn't a big deal and that He'd overcome this problem previously. Medical knowledge allows for explanation as to what it means in terms of recovery and long- term prognosis.
As an aside, I was wondering whether this problem could have had some adverse impact on Buddy's recovery from hamstring last year, or totally unconnected?
It sounds like the perfect injury to refer to whenever we need to give buddy a rest for playing up...

I'm hearing Buddy met with Swan staff two weeks ago. We're shedding a swag of cash in Jude Bolton, Jesse White off contract and Marty Mattner, that's if Goodes doesn't retire as well. We will have salary cap room for him. Surely Buddy is gone if he hasn't signed as yet. I reckon GWS must be in front at the moment.

Laughable you think losing those three would be enough to free up over 1.2 million for 5 years on your salary cap. Obviously you guys are used to playing by different rules.

Don't blame the Swans for seeking a quality forward. Tippett must be such a disappointment to you.

They are. We have to adhere to a salary cap, Sydney don't actually have a salary cap.

I'm not sure why they would, having acquired Tippett, but theoretically with who they have at the end of deals/careers, Sydney could probably offer big bucks couldn't they? They'd just have to backload it, which would be a hard deal to sell, but I don't think it's as "impossible" as people make out. I reckon their 2015 onwards salary caps would have a fair bit of space in them at this stage.

I love watching Buddy in games like tonight.
This is what he was born to do - be the star in the biggest games.
I hope he understands he won't get that at GWS.
Gee I hope he stays.

Wishful thinking perhaps, but I even thought that this one gave a hint of his mindset ...

Doesn't say where it's going to come but I feel like it implies ...more footy like that at Hawthorn

My exact thoughts while watching this, his subconscious words seemed to imply that he'll continue with HFC

Wouldn't it great if announced he was signing after a performance like that. His body language and confidence seemed different tonight. Looked like the Buddy of old who knows he is the best player on the field.

After seeing him play tonight, his body language and how he embraced his team mates, he is staying.
And listening to him talking to Tim Watson after the game tonight......and he said "I just play football"...... he is staying.

I was convinced up to a week or 2 ago that he was leaving, but after that tweet the other night, and his body language tonight.......I have jumped the fence. I am all in........Buddy is staying at the Hawks next year. I might even put a wager on it that he will announce he has re-signed the week before finals.

There.......I have said it.
I am all in.

I thought he was going for sure up until the West Coast game... but for some reason after that game (mainly due to his body language) I felt like he was going to stay.

He will stay!!! Look at Suarez @ Liverpool he is a guy that doesn't want to stay :(

Interesting comment by Denis Commetti on 7 before the match. He said that GWS would be better off spending millions on a spread of players rather than one. And Buddy needs to play in a champion team to get the best out of him. The most intelligent comment thats come out of 7 for a long time. Not only because its what I 'd LIKE to hear, but I fully agree. Said it a few times here that Buddy alone at GWS will be constantly frustrated at being double/triple tagged being the main focus...although Cameron will demand some attention. But won't have the likes of Roughy, Gunston, Cyril, Bruest causing havoc along side him.

That said, loved Buddy's game tonight against Bombers. Played with passion and its obvious he loves the Club.
