Didak was taken at 3 and has lived up to that rating. He is worth pick 2 alone and even then it depends on the player likely to be available at 2. Didak is an out and out gun. The only players I would take off the table are Didak, Cloke, Pendlebury and Thomas. That isn’t because they are better than Judd but because we’d be faced with still having an unfillable hole and Judd wouldn’t get us the flag which is the only reason you’d chase and pay for him.

Fraser’s ruckwork is replaceable. In fact it was replaced on Friday night. Fraser has to be on the table but with a plan in place to get a replacement that we already need in any case.

I don’t know where some of these come from. I am not personally against trading Fraser but I think Collingwood are. Either way Collingwood are already short a ruckman or two and trading Fraser would only make the ruck deficiency worse and lead to a need to get two good ruckmen onto the list. Didak is Collingwood’s best player. He won his second final for us on Friday night. If we trade Didak we will be making a bad mistake and the administration will have their got their priorities wrong. Trading Didak is a huge step backwards in winning premierships.

I reckon Didak showed he wanted to play for Collingwood on Friday night. He was injured and doubtful play and came out in the second half and brained ‘em.

As for Richmond trading pick 2, why would they facilitate a Judd deal for anyone else when they would be the beneficiaries of a deal falling through? Pick 2 to Richmond means an almost guaranteed quality player and a remote chance at a free Judd. Seriously, if Miller lets pick 2 go the chook poo should dumped on his front door step and he should be immersed in it until he stops breathing.

I'm not going to argue with this Mark as Didak is a gun and rating draft picks is a difficult exercise. Would it be fair to say that another team would not give up Pick 2 for Didak though? It seems that Didak is worth more to Collingwood than he is to another team and that is the problem with most players moving on. I am damn sure that Judd is worth more to the Eagles than to another team despite their excellent midfield. The asking price is always going to be too high for any player as they are revered at their original club and haven't earned their stripes at a future club.

I agree, and the other fact is this draft is meant to be a thin one.
Dosen't matter what people think they can give up...it's up to the club Judd nominates and the WCE on what is fair and what is not.

To give up both Didak AND Fraser would be massively overpaying for even the #1 pick this year.

Have you ever watched football before? .. Fraser was chucked into the ruck as a skinny kid and was outstanding for about four or five years, playing a major role in getting us to two grand finals. He has struggled with injuries thepast two seasons, probably as a result of carrying a big load as No.1 ruck when he was not ready...
He may not be the best tap ruckman in the game but he is certainly close to the best around the ground.
He is still highly likely to captain our club and i would be stunned if the Pies had ever considered trading him

Richmond are not stupid to believe the over rated opinions of supporters of team on this site. Didak is NOT worth a number 2 pick now. Word is he wants to go back to SA due to off field problems.

If Collingwood want to deal on Judd they will need much more than what the supporters are suggesting to get it done.

no he isn't. he is inconsistent and will never be better. Poor Brown got cut down by an injury and is busting his guts to be back better than he was, Didak is just an idiot plain and simple who will never fulfill his talent.
