Any tips for the free kick ratio? No doubt it will favour WC because the AFL and umpires hate Sydney, but by how much. Sydney have not had a game with free kicks in favour since 2004.

I'm guessing WC will get 10 more free kicks than sydney, with 5 more inside attacking 50m.

This is the example of crying over spilt milk before the milk even comes out of the cow

If everything goes as per normal, that sounds about fair.

If not missing a decent chunk of the scraggy holding ones from your mob that they should have spotted, but deliberately ignore to "let the game flow". Funny how that finals umpiring philosophy plays straight into the hands of the team that scrags for its bread and butter, innit?

Pleeease post up your sploodge pic of barry taking *that* mark....

If the free kick count heavily favours the winner, then this premiership will need a big (*) next to it. Whoever wins.

You are an idiot. Free kicks have little bearing on 99% of games, despite what the count is. If the free kick count favours the winners then the (*) will probably stand for:

*were first in for the ball
*put their head over the ball
*had more of the ball (possession is 9/10 of the law)

Rubish. Free kicks have an enourmous bearing on the result. It keeps poor teams in the game, and handicaps good teams. Free kicks inside attacking 50 are like free goals.

So by your logic, taking into account the Barry Hall verdict from last year the 05 grand final needs a * next to it?

Don't be ridicuous.

Free kick count usually is correct because sydney try to bend the rules.

Rubish. All teams try to bend the rules by the same amount. The umps/AFL seem to penalise Sydney more often....especially against WC.

The umps have admitted the match winning Stenglien free in last years QF was wrong, and they just admitted the Hunter free in this years QF was wrong. Ever heard of them admitting a free against WC was ever wrong?

Seaby or Judd should be "in the back" on Kennelly. They are no where near the ball.

Look at both teams' respective gameplans. It doen't take a genius to figure out why Sydney will end up with less frees.

Premature excuses board.

If you look at that pic and the only obvious free you see is a push in the back to the Irish guy, then you really do have nothing, know nothing about Aussie Rules, and should bug out of this thread before you get embarrased.

The one where he punched McGuire in the guts and was handed some points using the objective system the AFL uses to evaluate the severity of reportable offences?
